Product Description The KitchenAid KBC5N Bowl Cover 5 Quart fits models K5 K5A K5SS KSM5 KSM50 KPM5 KSM50 KSMC50 KPM50 KP50
Amazon.com Review These covers sit securely over the bowl of a 5-quart KitchenAid stand mixer, so you can store your mixer attachments in the bowl but keep them out of site. Use them, too, to cover cool-rise yeast doughs or leftover cookie batters, mashed potatoes, and more. These clear, lightweight lids make it easy to keep extras in the fridge. Dishwasher-safe, but only on the top rack. --Betsy Danheim

Refund Rip Off For Wrong Size August 27, 2008 90210 Hillbilly (So Cal) I purchased KitchenAid KBC5N Mixer Bowl Covers for 5-Quart Stand Mixer Bowls, Set of 2 for $9.99 and they were maybe 1/4 inch shy of fitting my mixer bowls. After speaking to customer service and getting an explanation of how to do a return I sent them back expecting to get the right product - KitchenAid Mixing Bowl Cover, Set of 2 (K45/KSM90) that was the same price - but instead I got a email issuing a refund totaling $2.49 a difference of $$6.50! I have spent over $1000.00 with Amazon in the last few months alone, never given them a bad review even when things were delivered broken, three times. I hope it is worth the $6.50 for them to loose most if not the rest of my future business as I will be looking elsewhere first from now on before I come to Amazon.
Kitchenaid was bought by Whirlpool. Your 5 qt. mixer may vary. April 6, 2008 Sunquist (Oregon) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Make SURE your model number is in the model numbers list in the product description above-the models there are NOT for the 5 quart ARTISAN.I have both 5 quart mixers, a Kitchenaid KSM5 made by Kitchenaid/Hobart and a Kitchenaid Artisan, made by Whirlpool. The 5 quart bowls look very similar but you can't hook the bowls onto the other mixer because the diameter of the bowls aren't the same. The beaters and hooks also aren't interchangeable. S.Devereaux, a previous reviewer stated that "According to KitchenAid Customer Service these are for a discontinued bowl. The correct model number for the current 5qt bowl is KNBC." However, if you look up that model number the description is for the 6 quart mixer. Nevertheless, since the model numbers that these lids fit are listed in the product description and they do fit my old mixer which is on the list and are as described, they have to get my 5 stars despite their dismal ratings.
It's okay, but not as expected. March 11, 2008 D. Durfee (AK) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I thought the picture showed an open center in the lid, so I could leave my beater attached to the mixer while covering both the bowl and mixer. However, it came without the open center, so I have to remove the mixer. It works, but just isn't what I expected or really wanted.

I have a 5 quart bowl, these are five quart lids, Simple? No, not really. They don't fit. Great Frisbee's though.
they do not fit the artisan model December 19, 2007 K. Steward (New Hampshire United States) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
I concur with the others, these do not fit the Artisan mixer. I did a lot of research on line, including with KitchenAid, to be told that this lid fit my mixing bowls. It does not.
