Product Description With a host of useful attachments, this slender wand takes the place of bulkier appliances. Its mobility allows you to go to the stove to blend a soup or whip potatoes, as needed. Chop onions in the food processing cup, or beat egg whites for a soufflE.
Amazon.com Review Equipped with an exceptionally powerful 280-watt motor, this versatile appliance is a combination hand mixer and hand blender. For mixing, beating, and whipping, there are two cunningly designed beaters that produce volume while reducing splashing. For kneading, there's a strong dough hook, and for blending, there's an attachment that can be used in the accompanying 2-cup container (or any container) for small jobs like salad dressings. For chopping, the power unit attaches to another container with its own blades to make quick work of nuts, onions, hard cheeses, herbs, garlic, and meats. (The container's base serves as a snap-on plastic lid for storage.) The mixer/blender has three speeds and a power-pulse button for working through tough jobs. It stands upright on a nonskid base, and its power cord pivots to stay out of the way or can be locked in place. This appliance carries a one-year warranty against defects. --Fred Brack

Braun Multi-Mixer January 6, 2009 Rebecca L. Newhouse (Marysville, OH USA) When my old Braun multi-mixer finally gave out, I went online to find another one to replace it. Much to my amazement, I found one almost exactly like what I had but with more power and extra attachments and at a very reasonable cost. I like the light weight of the mixer and the ease of use. The small food chopper attachment is the best. I will definitely buy another one when this new one decides to quit!
great kitchen appliance January 6, 2009 P. J. Merrill (Belmont, NH United States) Love this product. I have an earlier version without the dough hooks. I bought this for my daughter for Christmas and she used it Christmas day. The one word that I can attribute to this product is Quality. Braun just doesn't make a multi-mixer they think about it and then they make it. And the price I paid through Amazon was the best I could find by far!
Get's the Job Done December 24, 2008 Denise W. Lutsky (Fort Campbell, KY) I was given the older version of this Braum mixer as a wedding gift 13 years ago & the motor just seized up this year. So when my husband asked me what kind of mixer I wanted, I had no hesitation in stating I wanted the newer version of my old reliable mixer. My old mixing blades fit into the new one and it handles just like my old one. It's nice when a company sticks to what works with just some new attachments.
Food Preperation December 23, 2008 D. WALKER (Banning, CA USA) It doesn't have the power, attachments, or convenience of a KitchenAide; as most meals are smaller, and contrite. This makes the Braun the ideal kitchen aid for the common weakly meal, as the Braun gives the extra taste the palate desires for a modular zest taste; without the dull plain common weekly meal that only KitchenAide, or the Braun provides. As you can conclude my wife's equal equality in our different hobbies during 35 years of marriage prefers me to play with one of my many hobbies; one pleasure is the art of cooking. Braun 4 in 1 hand mixer December 21, 2008 W. S. Andrews (Titusville, Florida United States) I really like the power of this hand mixer and chose it because of other customer reviews and the recommendation of Consumer Reports. My criticism is the switch for the power selection is on top of the handle and goes from front to back of the handle instead of from left to right. Moving the switch from left to right is easier to operate with your thumb, at least for me. And the switch doesn't slide easily which may improve with use.
