For round-the-clock baking needs, the Hamilton Beach Commercial stand mixer delivers power, control, and safety features all wrapped into one stout machine. With its 800-watt motor—compared to 325 watts for standard home models—the mixer is capable of maintaining set speeds regardless of dough stiffness or ingredient quantity. The all-metal gearing system is highly durable and adjusts both speed and torque for all attachments. In spite of its power, the mixer is capable of delicacy on low settings and vibrates minimally in action. Hamilton Beach constructs the mixer with a rugged die-cast aluminum body for years of heavy-duty use. The head tilts up for easy access to ingredients and attachments, and automatically stops operation in the raised position. A rotary dial controls speed, while separate on and off switches control power—the on button is safely recessed to prevent accidental activation. The motor also features built-in protection against overheating. In addition to a 7-quart stainless-steel bowl, the mixer comes with a spatula, a flat beater, a dough hook, and a balloon whisk. WOW! This is a real work horse of a machine. I picked mine up on eBay a few months ago and I couldn't be happier. With 800 watts of power you don't have to worry about thawing butter or handling the thickest of doughs. It includes three attachments heads (wire whisk, dough hook and beater) and they are very sturdy. The steel mixing bowl is sturdy and cleans easily. Controls are simply and it has a great safety cutoff to prevent the machine from operating when the head is tilted back.
