I have been using my red Hamilton Beach Eclectrics Stand Mixer and I love it. The design is great and it looks wonderful on my kitchen counter!! I have tried both this stand mixer and the Kitchen Aid Artisan stand mixer and both do a great job mixing cookie and bread dough, and of course whipping eggs and making merengue. I was surprised that the Eclectrics stand mixer could do 4 batches of bread without a problem, and for the price, it is definetively a good value, especially since the comparable Kitchen Aid Artisan cost so much more, about $250. Overall, I am very, very happy with my new Stand Mixer. And I just read that Consumer Report gave it a Best Buy rating!!!
