For mixing, beating, and whipping, there are two cunningly designed beaters that produce volume while reducing splashing. For kneading, there's a strong dough hook, and for blending, there's an attachment that can be used in the accompanying 2-cup container (or any container) for small jobs like salad dressings. For chopping, the power unit attaches to another container with its own blades to make quick work of nuts, onions, hard cheeses, herbs, garlic, and meats. (The container's base serves as a snap-on plastic lid for storage.) The mixer/blender has three speeds and a power-pulse button for working through tough jobs. This is the best hand mixer I have ever used. It's tough but, when I tried to process a hard lump of parmesan cheese it died, froze. Well, one simple email to Amazon and a new mixer was in the mail that day. It is great to buy from a company that takes care of their customers. I have had the new mixer for a year and haven't had a single problem. The mixer is light and sits back on its handle when you set it down. The food processor is perfect for dicing vegetables and grinding spices (and cheese). The rubber base is also a cover for the processor container. I use it all the time. This is a powerful, great, hard working item.

I promise I will never be without a Braun mixer! I have one and i loved it so much that i got one for my daughter a few years ago for Christmas. She told me she already had a mixer and asked where i got it (amazon). she decided that it was too much trouble to return it. Whan she fianally tried it she fell totally in love! So much so that she bought her mother in law one for Christmas the next year, who fell in love as well! This one replaced my daughter's first one which met it's tragic end. So if you think you already have a mixer, trust me, you don't unless it's one of these! i rarely use my kitchen aid,preferring the Braun. My only complaint is, if you drop them, they're toast! Did you hear that, BRAUN??!! Buy it! you'll love it!! I promise!

When my old Braun multi-mixer finally gave out, I went online to find another one to replace it. Much to my amazement, I found one almost exactly like what I had but with more power and extra attachments and at a very reasonable cost. I like the light weight of the mixer and the ease of use. The small food chopper attachment is the best. I will definitely buy another one when this new one decides to quit!

Love this product. I have an earlier version without the dough hooks. I bought this for my daughter for Christmas and she used it Christmas day. The one word that I can attribute to this product is Quality. Braun just doesn't make a multi-mixer they think about it and then they make it. And the price I paid through Amazon was the best I could find by far!
