Amazon.com Review With a 3-cup work bowl and 240 watts of power, this chopper is ideal for small jobs and for making sauces, frostings, and dressings. The stainless-steel blade's reverse spiral action pulls food down, minimizing scraping and producing uniform chopped meat, nuts, cheese, vegetables, herbs--all the many foods for which the chopper is intended. For adding ingredients while the chopper is running, the lid has two compartments, one for dry items and the other for wet. For precise control, the chopper's electronic pulse pad responds instantaneously. The heavy power base provides stability and is seamless, making cleanup a simple matter of wiping the base and placing all the parts in the dishwasher. The chopper stands just 9-1/2 inches high and has cord storage inside the base. A stiff spatula is included. Should the chopper fail during its first year, KitchenAid's total replacement warranty guarantees delivery of another machine. --Fred Brack
Product Description Whether pureeing nuts for homemade pesto or simply chopping onion for tuna salad, this Chef's Chopper by KitchenAid is an essential tool in any kitchen. The large, 3-cup capacity work bowl tackles most recipes while the one-touch pulse control offers precision chopping. The chrome design looks great in retro and modern kitchens alike. Other features include reverse spiral cutting action and an easy-to-clean design. Imported. 10Hx7Wx7D".

Great addition to my kitchen appliances August 9, 2008 booklover (Canyon Lake, TX) I love my minichopper! I use it for chopping small quantities, such as nuts, fresh herbs, onions, and garlic. Great when you don't need a large food processor. I have also given these as gifts. I prefer the one with the handle. It's much easier to use. The container is easy to clean in the dishwasher. I would recommend this item to anyone.
dominica August 8, 2008 Carmella Mezza (warren , mi usa) i am so happy with this mini processor. it minces the fresh herbs and onions as fine as i want them which i could not achieve with my old processor. it has made my prep time shorter and after three or four pulsesmy herbs are finely chopped and ready to go. wonderful product.strong motor.
It is a KitchenAid!!!!!! July 21, 2008 Jaw Jab (Looking out at God's Country) Went through two choppers, one TV brand broke after fourth use, Black and Decker broke after second use. I have had a KitchenAid mixer, my mother's which is over 50 years old and it still works as if it is brand new. So I ordered the KitchenAid Chopper, it should have been my first choice. Have a 3/4 acre garden, freeze green peppers, banana peppers, onions, etc and believe me I have really put my chopper to use. What a pleasure, what a great product, what was wrong with me not buying it first!!!! I love it and it just keeps going and going and going. It is a KitchenAid what can I say except EXCELLENT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Would be nice if it ran... July 21, 2008 Edsel lover (MN) 0 out of 3 found this review helpful
Just disposed a brand new unit to my gaarbage can after using 3 times in 3 months. Locking mechanism will not drop in far enough to unlock unit so it will start. Not worth the hassle or the cost(shipping) to send back to Kitchen Aid. I thought the safety mechanism was suspect when I bought it bacause it is all plastic. Runs great when you stick a ball point pin into the safety switch. But then you can't get the cannister on when doing this. That's $10/use as I paid $30 at Target on sale. My knife and cutting board are working great though. Buyer beware.
