Not worth it... go with glass!May 10, 2008 Mom of One(Dayton, OH USA) My blender came with this type of jar and I have now thrown it away and am looking to replace it with a glass jar. The two layers of plastic are not well joined, allowing water, food particles, and bacteria to get in between them. If they can get in, they can certainly contact what you're pouring out of the jar. Let's just say there was no way I was comfortable blending baby food with this!
