Just as described. Boy does this think pack some power! Wasn't ready for how well it worked.

5 out of 5 stars More bang for your buck   July 29, 2008

After my $300 Krups espresso/coffee maker died, I was frustrated to find a better replacement. Low and behold, an inexpensive espresso maker plus the Aerolatte To Go make lattes and cappucinos just as delicious, and with even better foam than the pump-driven Krups. I bought the Aerolatte To Go before we went on vacation so I could make my morning latte while away from home. It works so well, so consistenly, SO quickly and without the mess of traditional foaming/steaming methods! So well that I use it at home everyday now rather than use the steam wand on my espresso maker. The directions say to microwave your milk (I use 1%) for 30 seconds, but I do it for 50 seconds to heat the milk to 135 degrees. This makes a hotter latte and results in better, richer, thicker, creamier foam.

The Aerolatte product with the new secure travel case goes everywhere with me and also is very handy in the kitchen. I love a good cappuccino whipped up with the aerolatte but have discovered that eggs whipped up with it make a very fluffy and tasty omelet. You have to try it to believe it.

Works like a charm, excellent buy for the money, definitely recommended, and works well with soy milk!

5 out of 5 stars Making Cappuccino the Cheap Way   June 23, 2008

I have been using this for about 8 months now to froth milk and it does an absolutely brilliant job. I just heat up a small amount of milk in the microwave while my Bialetti Moka Express 3-Cup Stovetop Percolatoris brewing some espresso. Once the brewing is done I pour a bit of the warmed milk into the cup and froth the rest with the Aerolatte and pour that in for a great cappuccio. It works like a charm and you can't beat having a great cup of coffee for well under $50 worth of equipment.
