Not Airtight!!! March 22, 2008

I was so excited when I received these canisters. They look great, nice heavy ceramic and I really liked the spoons on the side. The problem came when I put the lids on. They kept popping up and would not seal! I tried swapping the lids around, but nothing worked!! I really wanted canisters that are airtight, so they had to go back.
They look good but that's all they are good for! October 8, 2005

I bought these canisters to go with my white kitchen with stainless steel accents...well, the description said they were airtight (before I brought to their attention they are in fact NOT airtight). I put the lids on and tested them with water and it poured out of all sides...not leaked...POURED! You can't possibly store food in them unless you want critters.
