5 out of 5 stars Glad I got one! Great for summer drinks.   June 8, 2008

This is the best blender I've used. I am so glad I bought one. It is perfect for making summer drinks.
It does what it says. No ice chunks. And that's the truth. You don't have to add an extraordinary amount of water or juice to get rid of ice chunks. I can make a smoothie and still have it thick enough without ice chunks. Other blenders I've used cannot do this. I'd either have to add so much water or juice that the end result is more of an icy juice, rather than a smoothie.
Clean-up on this blender is easy since the entire jar can be taken apart from the top to the bottom, including the portion that holds the blades. Very few other blender jars I've seen can do this. Every try to clean the bottom of a blender jar? You can't! This one, the bottom section comes off. Easy to clean.
It does not say in the product description that the jar is glass or plastic, but it is plastic. It doesn't make much of a difference to me. It still works the same. In this price range, it's not what the jar is made of. It's what the item is made to do. And that is to make a good smoothie. It does that perfectly. No ice chunks!

5 out of 5 stars Good Blender at a Good Price   May 27, 2008

Pros: Price, Options, Power, Blending Capabilities.
Cons: Size, Hassle to Clean

I bought this to make shakes, smoothies and baby food. So far I have made a shake and a smoothie, but no baby food. I have been please with the power and capability... totally worth it. My only complaint is that it's a hassle to clean, but most blanders are. It's also larger than other blenders I have had, so that makes storage a small issue.

I have had this blender for a few weeks, and so far I am happy with it, and would recommend it to anyone looking for a good blender at a reasonable price.

This blender is awesome and wow can it put out the speed!!! I only wish I had gotten this blender sooner, we have made milk shakes for the kids, and smoothies for us and they have all turned out great. It is easy to clean and it takes up little room to store.

4 out of 5 stars Blender Review   February 18, 2008

Good Fun Blender, but it's a little on the light side. I think it needs to be heavier so that when you press the dispenser, it doesn't move. When it's full, there isn't much of a problem, but when it's almost empty, you can move the blender without meaning to.

I paid $30 and I'm happy with it. If I had paid $60, I would have returned it.

My wife and I received this blender as a wedding gift nearly three years ago and have made smoothies with fresh fruit, powder, and ice nearly 200 days of the year, each year, since purchased. I only noticed, today, that It's starting to show signs of it's age and will have to be replaced. It has a couple stress cracks (that do not leak, yet)near the spout and also near the base of the container. I've never had a blender that crushed ice this good. We'll definitely consider buying another if I cannot get a replacement base.
