I bought this model based on a review of various blenders by Cooks Illustrated. Not only did they rate this blender best, it was also one of the least expensive models. I am very pleased with this purchase. This is a well-built machine that does everything a blender should do, with ease. This blender replaces a Bullet I bought (for the same price)that broke down after 3 months of light use.
