OK, I've only used it once, but it made a presentable frozen margarita. It didn't grind up the ice to a slushy the way my kitchen blender does, but it didn't moan and die either--it coarsely ground the ice quite quickly. Just because you're car camping doesn't mean you have to rough it! Don't drink and drive...
