This product is simple and it does what it is designed to do. We have it set in our office kitchen and it runs all day without a hitch. Clean up is fast and easy we all love the Magic Bullet!

I have owned numerous blenders and food processors and nothing has impressed me like this product. I purchased the professional one because of reviews of the others breaking after a short time. I can't compare it to those since I never owned one. This one has ample power and does a great job.

WHAT A PIECE OF JUNK! I GOT IT FEB 13TH AND USED IR FIRST TIME APRIL 26TH..ALMOST MADE A HALF WAY SMOOTHIE BEFORE IT STOPPED AND HAS NEVER WORKED AGAIN! WAITED AND TRIED 3 TIMES AND NEXT DAY..NO LUCK! IT ALSO DOES NOT BLEND WELL FOR THE ICE AT ALL.NEVER EVEN GOT TO TRY THE PESTO I HAD WANTED TO DO! I SHOULD HAVE RESEARCHED IT MORE AS I HAVE FOUND A HUGE AMOUNT OF DISASTER STORIES! BASE BREAKING..FOOD PULVERIZED OR NOT HALF WAY BLENDED..RUBBER GASKET TEAR..CANT USE OVER A MINUTE OR BURN OUT.i MADE IT LESS THAN 30 SECONDS! WHAT A TV RIP OFF! STICK TO MY FOOD PROCESSOR AND BLENDER! MY 30 DAY RETURN WARRENTY WAS OUT ALSO EVEN THOUGH I NEVER USED IT TIL NOW! BUYER BEWARE AND UNLESS YOU ARE LUCKY AS SOME OF THE "RAVE REVIEWERS" (WONDER IF THEY ARE FOR REAL??) I SUGGEST YOU "DODGE THE BULET!" I originally had the regular Magic bullet but like other reviewers have said, a plastic part on the base can break if you don't let the unit completely stop before removing the cup. I had my original bullet for over 3 years and used it ALOT. So it CAN take alot of abuse before breaking. Now that I know what "not" to do, I'm sure my new blender will live a long life.
So about this new and improved Platinum Pro Magic Bullet.....WOW! Its bigger, better and completely worth buying.
The large pitcher that comes with this set is huge! It could definately handle alot of whatever you're making. I'm glad I'll be able to make 2 smoothies at once.
The new cup size is great. They are thicker and stronger, shorter but wider so they will be easier to clean.
The ring colors are much more modern Black, grey, red and white instead of blue, red, yellow and green.
The new base is much sturdier and looks nice. It will actually be claiming counter space instead of being hidden away. The old model was kind of cheap looking.
Love the new cookbook! All the recipes seem pretty healthy.
Don't listen to the people who don't like the magic bullet. Chances are they aren't smart enough to use one correctly. And don't buy the original buy the Platinum Pro...it's a much better product.
