Product Description The Nav-Mat is the most convenient mounting accessory for your portable GPS today. Using the physics of weight distribution along with high tech anti-skid materials, it creates a solid mounting base while turning your windshield mounted GPS into a dash mounted GPS.The Nav-Mat conforms to the contours of your dashboard, allowing it to work on uneven or textured surfaces while the anti-skid underside keeps the device from sliding. Designed to work with devices up to several pounds using the windshield suction mount sold with most popular GPS units, the Nav-Mat requires no tools for installation and can easily be moved from vehicle to vehicle or put out of sight when exiting the vehicle. Also works well with other Bracketron Windshield Mounts for mounting devices such as Satellite Radio, Cell Phones and MP3 Players.

GPS Friction Dash Pad August 29, 2008 Eleanor R. Northover (Hampton, Virginia USA) This item was a bit disappointing. It did not mount to my dash the way it was discribed in the package. Actually I had to place it elsewhere to get it to work.
For $10, I think it's a warm deal August 29, 2008 Chao Shi performs well, worth the money. (But I bought it on Amazon when it's around $10, it's normally ~$40 elsewhere)
It works! August 29, 2008 mikecq (Lexington, KY United States) Not much you can say about a waited ring, but it does work as advertised. It allowed me to place the GPS where I wanted it.
Bracketron Dash Pad August 29, 2008 Robert B. Reid (Long Beach, Cal) I've had this product for a month now in my minivan. I've been on the freeway, around curves and bumpy roads and this device holds my Magellan Roadmate rock steady.
Best solution I have found. August 28, 2008 hal (usa) I have GPs' in all four of my cars and the windshield mounts just don't work I tried a number of solutions for dash mounting and this pad was the only one that didn't slide around (I have it in my FJ Cruiser and even off road it stays in place -mostly). I liked it so much I bought one for each of my daughters cars. Highly recommend this pad for keeping your GPS in place.
