Either the stuff would never mix right, and/or it would somehow leak out of the blender/shaker...plus, I could never expect a lid to fit tight and stay tight while carrying the bottle somewhere. I would never have imagined how well something this SIMPLE could work so well!!!! Easy to clean, carry, and drink from too! Thanks for the reviews everyone. The wire ball mixes my shakes very thoroughly. The cap stays in place and snaps shut so you know where it is and when it is closed. I'm extremely pleased with this blender bottle. After reading reviews of other shaker bottles that complained about leakage and ineffectiveness with protein powder, I was worried about how effective any such bottle would be.
But this blender bottle is perfect. It's made of durable, thick plastic; it's very easy to clean (I don't even bother with the dishwasher, since I use it so often); and it blends protein shakes very thoroughly. No leaks, and I couldn't be more pleased with it.

Well for one thing, this product works. Very, very well. I've used many different shakers for making protein shakes or whatever else and this one is far and away the best.
It seals really well, nothing leaks out and nothing is a mess. It's easy to clean. And best of all it really really blends whatever is inside.
I put 4 big scoops of powder into this guy and some water and such and then even crushed ice, and it blends everything together very nicely. No chunks no leaking no mess and even blends the ice in nicely.
Don't bother with other shakers.
