Couldn't ask for more August 8, 2008 KoRe Systems I usually only have time for one or two cups of coffee before heading off to work in the morning, where I continue to drink it by the gallon. Compact, stylish, and functionality get this little coffee maker a 5/5 rating. No leaks, no mess. Everything you need in a small and affordable coffee maker.
Two design issues August 7, 2008 Donna E. (California) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Okay, well it brews a decent cup of coffee, and it's fast enough. The carafe and hinged lid are about the worst design I've seen. You can't pour out the last half cup of coffee without spilling it. The programmable feature is nice, but there is no locking mechanism on the clock's buttons, so with the slightest bump (or wipe with a cleaning cloth) you will accidentally change the time. Of course the time only adjusts in one direction so when you do accidentally change the time by one hour, you then have to hold the button as it runs through the remaining 23 hours to get back to the right time. Not very well thought out.
MY MAIN MACHINE! July 31, 2008 Thomas A. Canariato (WEST. COUNTY, NY) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I CALL THIS MY MAIN MACHINCE BECAUSE IT PERFORMS PERFECTLY TIME AFTER TIME AND GETS ME OFF TO A GREAT START EVERY DAY. MEASURE YOUR COFFEE, POUR THE CORRECT AMOUNT OF YOUR WATER ( COLD ) AND IN MINUTES YOU HAVE GREAT TASTING COFFEE EVERY TIME. SOMEONE SAID SOMETHING ABOUT NOT REMEMBERING TO MOVE THE SHOWER HEAD OVER THE COFFEE BASKET. IF YOU CAN'T REMEMBER SOMETHING AS SIMPLE AS THAT, THEN MAYBE YOU SHOULD LOOK INTO BUYING GINKO BILOBA AT YOUR FAVORITE VITAMIN STORE. THIS MACHINE IS WORTH EVERY DOLLAR. PEOPLE GIVING IT NEGATIVE RATINGS ARE PEOPLE WHO FIND FAULT IN EVERY ASPECT OF THEIR LIVES, THEY ARE JUST UNHAPPY SOULS WANDERING AIMLESSLY THROUGH THIS BEAUTIFUL WORLD OF OURS LOOKING FOR THINGS TO COMPLAIN ABOUT. THER'RE PROBABLY LIBERAL... WHICH IS A MENTAL DESEASE.
pure garbage through and through July 29, 2008 mappo 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought this coffee maker to replace an older version of the same model that finally died after many years. This thing is a cheap piece of junk. From the pot that is shaped to spill as it pours to the fill reservior that splashes into the coffee basket, the poor design of this thing is so multi-faceted it seems it must have been deliberate.
Nice, LITTLE coffee maker July 19, 2008 Jennifer (Alaska) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I ordered this coffee maker based on all the positive reviews, and I'm not disappointed. It is the perfect size for 1 person (my husband prefers black coffee...not me!). He loves it, it is easy to use, brews quickly, and is easy to clean. HOWEVER: the pot does NOT hold 4 cups. I measured it out of doubt one evening, and it holds just over 3 cups. It is just enough to fill a to-go travel mug. Which is all my husband needs in the morning, but just wanted to let you all know of its short-comings!
