love this product. i just bought my second unit after 5 years of daily use of the first one. i broke it by trying to grind something that was too hard and the white plastic pieces in the base unit broke off. mostly i use it for smoothies, since i need something light in the morning before i go to the gym. i've used it sucessfully for onions, coffee beans, soup, potatoes, parmesan cheese, yogurt and fruit smoothies, milkshakes for my grandchildren (they love the colored rings on the mugs) and anything else that needs to be chopped quickly when i'm cooking. it's easy to clean and i've used it almost daily since i got it. i went out and bought another one, because i missed the first when it broke. it looks good on the counter because it's so small and when i have to put it away, fits nicely in any cabinet. i heartily recommend this product.

I've been using it everyday to make my homemade frappe for the past 6 months. Doesn't take lot of time to chop the ice, easy to clean and doesn't take up space on the counter. It is the best one i've got for the price (around $50 without the blender).

I don't think this is as "great" and "easy" as they tell you on tv, but this is very useful for making protien shakes on the go. Just mix it up, and off to work. The shake is ready for use later in the day. My complaint is that the base doesn't always turn off like it should, we have had to unplug the unit in order to get it to turn off. However, it's a minor inconvenience. Easy to wash in the dishwasher, the rough surface inside makes it a little more challenging to wash by hand. (again, a minor inconvenience) Overall, this product is good.

I bought my magic bullet at Macy's for Christmas for myself and my sister. We both love it for chopping onions, smoothies and shakes. I use it almost everyday without any problems. I'm actually of thinking of buying another one to keep at work for my afternoon meal replacement shake.
I love the easy clean up vs a huge blender! It's a must if you are a smoothie, slim-fast drinker.

Magic Bullet Complete 21 Piece Mix and Chopping System
This product is hyped in ads on TV as being simple to use. Don't believe it. It takes a great deal of skill and practice to use it and not turn the item you are processing to mush. The instructions even say that. Even with practice the Magic Bullet does not even approach the uses shown in the ads. For example. It says it grates all kinds of cheeses. Not true, if you put a soft cheese (e.g. sharp cheddar) it just turns to mush even using the techniques described on the manual and on their website. Yet I can easily grate this cheese on my hand grater.
We tried to chop onions and even using the lightest touch we got - mush
Carrots - mush. We were able to make smoothies because you basically want those to be mush. Hard cheeses like Parmesan seem to work OK.
Basically, this device is much more limited than advertised and if you have a blender already there is no sense in buying this product because it can't do much better.
