A Good Four Slice Toaster
July 21, 2007
Have you ever wanted to make some toast, and you toaster just wasn’t up to the task?
Sounds crazy I know…but really, many toasters just don’t last all that long, are they just don’t work the way they did when you purchased it.
Sometimes it will toast OK, and then the next day it will either burn it, or just do a partial toast job.
The thing about toasters, is that the heating elements either go bad altogether, are they just work well on one side and generate less heat than it should on the other.
Recently I came across a nice little toaster that does everything you need out of a toaster, Like toast bread, and do it well.
This one not only can toast bread, but it toast waffles, bagels, and whatever else you can stuff in it, because the slots are wide. No more do you need one appliance for your toast, and another for your bagels.
The Hamilton Beach classic chrome toaster has plenty of room and numerous options. It has four bread slots, so no more waiting to put two more slices in. Yeah I know, waiting that extra minute is like a death sentence
The control dial has functions for reheat, defrost, and a bagel option. You can even cancel a toast job. I never did that before!
Cleaning it is a breeze too, all you have to do is remove the bottom tray. dump it out, and whip it clean.
You could expect to pay what you would for a good two slice model. Last I looked it was around $43.00. For a name brand four slice toaster, thats not too bad.
