Product Description
Industrial chic meets ancient world in these fashionable and practical chopsticks. Unlike their bamboo forebears they won't get stained and can go in the dishwasher without harm. Sleek and stylish with a smooth, comfortable feel in the hand. Please note: marble tile not included.

they work fine, obviously.
didn't fine many imperfections and have been fine going through the dishwasher and what not.
I may order more but feel they may be slightly overpriced so I may wait.

At work, we usually order Chinese food once a week. The delivery companies usually forget to give us chopsticks. That's why I love these. I can always have the whole package in my backpack so even if I want to eat some chips while keeping my hands clean, they are always with me.
Plus they are easy to clean with a soapy paper cloth which is easy to get at work.

There's only two things you'll need to worry about. It's possible that they could rust but if you clean them like any normal silver-wear, these should last for decades. The second is that if you cook with chopsticks, these can transmit the heat of the food to your hand much faster than wooden or plastic chopsticks.

Other than those two nitpicks, these are pretty much perfect.

The way I see it, it is hard to mess up chopsticks. I bought this set because my mother was coming to visit me from out of town and I wanted her to feel at home. She is old school and still prefers the wooden chopsticks for cooking, etc. She nevertheless agrees the chopsticks are good quality and uses them from time to time for meals. They grip as good as any chopsticks can I would imagine but because they are rounded, they tend to roll; I've never owned stainless steel chopsticks before to compare these with anything else. They seem to do the job, and I am happy with them. They are run through the dishwasher without any problems and are sleek enough not to look tacky next to my silverware.

5 out of 5 stars The real deal   July 13, 2008

I have worked in Korea and this is what you find in all the restaurants there. Yes they are a bit harder to use than Chinese squarish chopsticks, but easier than the narrow Japanese ones. Yes they are dishwasher safe and light - because they are hollow - not plastic.

3 out of 5 stars They're......OK   June 13, 2008

I bought these to go with a Zojirushi lunch container. I thought that the stainless steel chopsticks would be cool to use with it. While they do indeed work, I prefer more traditional wooden chopsticks to these. Being metal and slick, they are a little more difficult to use. Plus, I don't like the *clink* *clink* noise they make while you are eating.

The good thing about them, however, is they come clean very easily. No worries about something soaking in and making you sick.
