5 out of 5 stars What's not to like?   November 29, 2008
Marlin Schrock
These filters are for the Aerobie Aeropress coffee and espresso maker. They can be washed and reused several times, before needing to be changed. However, it is easier to press the coffee with a new filter each time. They are inexpensive. If you only use 1 a day it will last you nearly a year!

4 out of 5 stars Aeropress Coffee Filters   November 27, 2008
G. S. Augustas (Garland, Texas)
These filters are requisite for the Aeropress Coffee Maker. The filters do their job a little too well: all fine particles are filtered out, even with extremely fine grind coffee. Manufacturer claims filters can be washed and reused, but I had better results using a new one each time. If you are considering the purchase of an Aeropress, note that my Aeropress arrived with one packet of filters included, so you may want to forgo buying a second packet until you see how you like the coffee maker. The Aeropress makes very good regular coffee but very poor "espresso." I was not able to produce coffee with any "crema" on it.

5 out of 5 stars Long lasting and great quality   November 6, 2008
Ricardo Medeiros (Rochester, NY)
To be honest, I have not gotten anywhere near opening my filters. The AeroPress comes with filters, and they last a crazy long time. I rinse and reuse the filters, and have used one for several weeks now. At this rate, I will probably be dead before I need the filters.
These are the same as come with the AeroPress, and they are high quality. The thickness means that the final coffee is very grit free and the filter is strong enough to be reused.
I love the product.

5 out of 5 stars VERY PLEASED   November 2, 2008
Allie J. Savage (lakeside, arizona usa)
I Like the product very much. It is convenient and works better than a French Press. I would like a unit to make a larger quantity of coffee but have not found one.

5 out of 5 stars easy to make great coffee, and clean afterwards   September 30, 2008
modernjazz (Houston TX USA)
My wife doubted me on this one but I trusted the reviews on Amazon and we bought this Aeropress. It's not rocket science to use. We don't have a thermometer to measure water temp, so we boil it and wait 5 minutes. It would work better to have a water heater device that keeps water ready at a certain temp. The coffee is very clean and tasty (no leftover grounds floating at the bottom of the cup). Now she loves the coffee I make, and her French Press rarely (never) comes out of the cabinet, and this Aeropress practically cleans itself, because when you remove the plunger from the tube, it cleans itself like a squeegee.

It's good for us, a married couple, because it only makes about 2 cups at a time, but it wouldn't be hard to just add more grounds and repeat the process. It takes about 30 seconds... pour in the hot water, stir, squeeze it through the filter.
