Amazon.com Review Strikingly retro in brushed stainless-steel with black-plastic accents, this 12-cup coffeemaker includes Cuisinart's best brewing technology and premium features for ease and flexibility. The digital clock/timer is programmable for automatically brewing "wake-up" coffee at a selected time and for turning off the warming plate up to four hours in advance. Removing the glass carafe from the warming plate automatically pauses the brewing process for a quick pour, and the warming plate's temperature can be adjusted. For maximum flavor, the machine can be set to brew one to four 5-ounce cups or five to twelve cups, and it includes a charcoal water filter. For convenience, a permanent Gold Tone filter eliminates messy paper filters and an indicator-light shows when decalcification is needed. The coffeemaker measures 14-1/4 inches high, 8 inches wide, and 10-3/4 inches deep (including carafe handle) and carries a three-year warranty against defects. --Fred Brack
Product Description This state of the art coffeemaker lets you fine tune the process from filtering the water you brew with to keeping the brewed coffee at the precise temperature you desire. If you're the impatient type you can grab a cup before brewing is complete (or program your coffee to be ready and waiting at wake up time), and if you tend to be forgetful, this appliance has auto shut off. Seems as though Cuisinart has covered all the bases in this deluxe coffeemaker.

Hot Coffee March 16, 2010 Nica Time (Wilmington, NC) If you like your coffee hot, this is the machine for you. It brews consistently and has a handy auto shut-off to pour a cup before the pot is finished. Save money with the built in filter and enjoy fresh water with the additional water filter.
Been using daily for over 3 years March 15, 2010 J. Ashley (Los Angeles, CA USA) This coffee maker is amazing! Very durable (my friend put the grounds into the water compartment when she was drunk) After cleaning it still works perfectly. Simple to use and design is very modern and doesn't look out dated. The filter and pot are great quality. (not dents in filter and the handle isn't wobbly after all this use, also pot has no coffee stains and the glass is very durable.
Great Coffee Maker March 15, 2010 Rush Woman (Rochester, NY) We love this coffee maker! It makes a great cup of coffee, and the design of it makes it so that we have never had that occasional spill over like other coffee makers when the pot is not in correctly. We also have never had the filter over flow like in other coffee makers.
We would definitely purchase this again!
Cuisinart DCC-1200 12-Cup Brew Central Coffeemaker, Black and Stainless Steel March 14, 2010 Chip Hesler (Coal Valley, IL) The claims by Cuisinart about the coffee tasting so good, are true. This is the best coffee I've ever had from a coffeemaker. The product was delivered quickly and met my expectations. The price, including shipping was better than I found in the local stores.
Weak, almost tasteless, Coffee March 14, 2010 J. Johnson (Solomons Md) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
Bought this based on CU's ratings. Big mistake. Most friends tell me I like weak coffee, and to me coffee made by this machine is overly weak. Taste more like hot water than coffee. And the taste is unchangeable - coffee taste the same regardless of how many scoops of coffee you put in the basket. Strange!! Not a coffee maker I can recommend.
