Braun's AromaDeluxe is a no-nonsense, easy-to-use coffeemaker for those who still prefer a basic cup of coffee. The coffeemaker brews up to 10 cups using a fast brewing method that thoroughly extracts the rich flavor and aroma from your ground coffee. The integrated Brita water filter also contributes to better-tasting coffee by screening out chlorine and other harsh minerals, plus it prevents calcification within the water tank. A marker on the top of the water tank helps you keep track of when the water filter needs to be changed. Other handy extras on the AromaDeluxe include a filter release button, which swings the detachable filter basket open for filling or easy cleaning, and a pause-and-serve feature, which stops the brewing while you pour a cup of coffee midway through a cycle. For safety, the glass carafe has a comfortable, nonslip handle with an open design to accommodate larger hands. We were looking for a no nonsense coffee maker that could make a good cup of coffee. After buying and rejecting 2 other brands, this unit has met and exceeded our expectations. The design is both good looking and highly functional. It meets our KISS rule (keep it simple stupid) AND makes an excellent cup of coffee. We later purchased the permanent filter, which we were skeptical about at first - but are delighted with. VERY easy to use as well and is in keeping with our "save the paper, save the planet" green theme.

The Braun coffee maker was recommended by America's Test Kitchen which we often rely on for this type purchase. It is an excellent coffee maker for this price range. No bells or whistles, just makes great coffee and is a well thought out design for easy use. We have owned a lot of coffee makers over time and would unhesitatingly recommend this model for value in this price range

I have had a two Braun coffeemakers in the past and was unable to locate another when I needed a replacement. I bought this one as a "spare" to have on hand when my present coffemaker dies. The Braun was the best coffeemaker I've ever owned and I am pleased to have another. Since many of the coffeemakers now with many more bells and whistles start at triple the price of this one, I am delighted to have found this one on amazon.com

I am very happy with this coffeemaker. I was looking for a no-frills coffeemaker to replace my 13-year-old Braun. This coffeemaker works well and makes very hot coffee. The carafe pours nicely. I have only had it for a month, but have had no problems with it. I would definitely reccommend it.

Fully satisfied with the function of theproduct except: The packing list called for a perm filter - no such thing was in the package. We understood this was original manufactured product, not a reconditioned one (misleading advertisement!)
