3 out of 5 stars Pros and Cons   August 4, 2008
K. Wilson (North Idaho)
Pros: it looks good; it keeps coffee warm for a LONG time (couple hours--long enough to drink it before it begins to cool); it's fun to have a ceramic pot with company; makes decent coffee.
Cons: no water-level guage--we over filled it several times and it just spills all over; you can't use the carafe to fill the machine with water--without the lid, the carafe is not designed to pour, which is dumb!; it makes about 6 cups of coffee, not 8.
We like this maker, but will not buy another one once this one goes out. It was expensive for all the cons. However, we enjoy it enough that we're not returning it or cursing it or whatever. :)
