simax glass crystal cooking potSeptember 9, 2008 D. J. Herb(OR USA) When I first received this little pot I wondered if it would really hold up to stove top use, it's so light weight. I do use a wire between it and the burner (electric stove), it's great! I really enjoy cooking with it and being able to see how everything is doing and it still amazes me everytime I use it. It cooks foods evenly and cleans up easily.

My daughter uses this pot to brew Oriental Herbal Tea for health benefit. The non-reactive glass is perfect for ensuring the purity of the tea. The pot can be simmered directly on the gas stove-top burner. Another benefit is being able to see how robustly the contents are simmering or boiling while the lid is on. The alternative plastic lid and the cork trivet to set the pot off the burner are very useful accessories. This is a great product of high quality and usefulness.
