West Bend elec grill June 17, 2008 kitchen maven (Garden Grove, CA) This grill works beautifully for both chicken, meat and even vegetables by cooking the food fairly fast when the lid is on. It leaves nice grill marks as on a outdoor barbeque grill but without the smokey flavor. When used indoors it does create smoke but if used near an open window the smoke is not that bad. The clean up is easy as there are only three parts to clean--the lid, the grill and the pan collecting the fat and juices. This grill with its lid is a great feature and is a good size holding two large steaks. I'm glad I bought it and recommend it. West Bend 6111 Heart Smart Indoor Grill, Black.
Not worth keeping May 22, 2008 Love shopping Amazon (MA USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I was excited to receive the grill so I could change my cooking methods and try to eat a healthier diet. The meat I cooked came out well, but the cleaning was worse than anticipated. It was too much of a hassle to clean in all those spaces. I expected it to be much easier to clean. I sent it back.
The best so far May 21, 2008 diasha78 (Staten Island, NY) This is my third electric grill and the best so far. I use it atleast once a week and the food always comes out right. I like the fact that it has a drip tray that accumulates all the fat and that it comes with a lid.
Bad Experience May 2, 2008 Honest Person (San Antonio, TX USA) 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
Based on all the good reviews, I ordered the product and was very disappointed at the results, which were just the opposite of all the good reviews. The water in the botton tray tends to boil rather create a grilled food. Further, it is hard to clean. I returned the product at a loss because of the shipping cost incurred. I purchased a skillet with ridges and an easy clean surface. Now I have the excellent results written about in the good reviews. I suggest you do the same and you will not only be happy but save money too!
Electric In-door Grill April 8, 2008 Glenn M. Schoolfield (Phoenix, Az) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I bought this grill to replace one I had recieved years ago. This grill is awesome and is used on a weekly basis. It is easy to use and clean and has grilled everything I have thrown at it to perfection. It is very easy to clean, heats very quickly and works very good for a grill in and apartment where grills on the patio are forbidden due to fire safety. I would recommend this too anyone wanting to grill anything their hearts desire.
