Raclette is a delectable Swiss cheese dish that has been popular for centuries. Its origin dates back hundreds of years to when shepherds tended their herds in the mountains of Switzerland. Supplies were limited and meals consisted of cheese melted by the fire and then scraped off onto potatoes and pickles. From these humble origins, the tradition of raclette was born. This tradition can be enjoyed at home with this tabletop raclette machine. This versatile gourmet raclette lets you prepare a variety of fun and healthy meals. The raclette features variable heat control and has a reversible non-stick grill top which is designed for grilling your favourite foods on one side and crêpes on the other while the cheese melts below. Includes 8 raclette dishes in which to melt the cheese and 8 heat-resistant scraping spatulas.

 Flimsy and small for the price, but seems to work June 3, 2008

This grill was smaller and flimsier than I had expected, and much more flimsy than the price would imply. Other than that, it seems to work very well, and we have used it several times now. I'd buy it again, as I haven't seen anything better.

This is our second Raclette grill as our first did not have a temp control and we kind of liked that feature. This is just a fun way to cook lots of small items for taste variations.

I really like the square pans, they're much easier to use than the wedge-shaped ones. Everything is coated in non stick so it cleans up like a breeze. The temperature knob is a nice touch, just watch your fuses, whenever it kicks on my lights flicker. It's a good time for when you want to say to your guests, cook it your damn'd self.

This raclette grill is authentic and functional. For the little space it takes, you can cook a delicious dinner without using other pans. The grilled food tastes like it was cooked at a barbecue grill. The grill on top has slightly higher edges to catch any sauce or liquid from spilling. Cleans very easily. The temperature knob is great. Highly recommended.
