Product Description This 2-pc. ramekin set is so versatile that you can use them to bake, serve and store things in. The 7.75-oz. ramekins are oven, broiler and microwave-safe and will not absorb odors or flavors. The durable finish resists chipping, scratching and staining, making them a wise investment for the kitchen-lover.
Amazon.com Review These pretty little ramekins are a bit different in style than the traditional vertically rippled cups that look like miniature soufflé dishes. The tall, smooth sides are only interrupted by three horizontal ridges--it's a clean look, and actually makes them more practical. They're easier to grab from under the hot broiler and also easier to scrub clean after use--no more caramelized sugar trapped in the ripples! The smooth interior flares just slightly at the top to provide a broader surface area for that tasty top layer. Each ramekin holds up to 8 ounces when filled to the very brim, and goes easily from freezer to oven or microwave--terrific for make-ahead fruit crisps or cobblers. This two-pack is great for replenishing a broken set or as a stand-alone set for a couple. --Jill Lightner

LeCreuset Ramekins December 30, 2007 The ramekins arrived in good shape and a timely manner. Can't go wrong with LeCreuset.
elegant ramekins October 16, 2007 starrryswirl 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
i liked these so much i just ordered 2 more sets. not only do they coordinate perfectly with the other red cast iron pieces, they are super sturdy. i'm really impressed with the quality of their pottery, even if it is made outside of france. this is a great size. i use them for serving baked beans and other sides, ice cream, salsa, lime wedges etc. i bought some more so i could use them for sides for guests and creme brulee. they're so pretty i don't even use them for prepping ingredients, i use my glass ones for that ; )

I never knew how much I needed these ramekins until I received two as a wedding gift. Now I need more. I haven't even made any fancy desserts in them, but they have served so many other purposes. I've used them to hold tartar sauce when serving fish & chips, parmesan cheese when serving lasagne, and currently one of them is holding a batch of herb butter in the fridge. These ramekins look so beautiful at the table. I'm sure I'll come around to making some kind of quiche or dessert like creme brulee eventually, but until then, they will be used continually for other jobs.
great! perfect size for everything March 9, 2007 B. B. (Baltimore, MD) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This set is so versatile. I bought these because I own the red Le Creuset cookware and they matched them. I thought that I would never use them and they would collect dust in the cupboard, but the longer I own them the more uses I find for them! Great for appetizer containers, for making mini casseroles (or quiches), creme brulee, serving soup, I've even baked mini bread loaves in them! The only recommendation I have is to buy two sets--I usually end up using four at a time instead of two.
I never heard of a ramekin. July 10, 2006 Kenneth Meeks (Philadelphia, Pa United States) 10 out of 19 found this review helpful
I bought a bunch of LeCreuset and these came as a gift. I suppose you use these for a fancy dessert, I don't know. What I do know is these are very well made and I am going to make jell-o and pudding in them and invite Bill Cosby over.
