The classic dry-ingredient measuring set, this ensemble rises above the conventional by virtue of the device joining the spoons' handles. Shaped like a big key ring, it's easy to lock and unlock when freeing a spoon from its colleagues. Calphalon's nonstick nylon kitchen tools are designed for safe use on all nonstick surfaces. Each of these spoons has a hole in the handle so it can be hung separately, or spoons can be hung jointly by the locking device. Hand wash with mild detergent. --Fred Brack

I mainly bought this set because it coordinated with all the other Calphalon purchases I've made recently. I suppose there's nothing particularly fantastic about these, but I really like their design. Each spoon has an inset, so that it will either measure one tablespoon or one teaspoon for the largest one, depending on which fill line you use. This may be fairly universal for many measuring spoons, I'm not sure, but I know it is helpful when you don't want to dirty many spoons- you can just dirty one or two instead.
All in all, a good set at a decent price.

As with the majority of the Calphalon cookware, this nylon measuring spoon set is great. Nice handles. It is just a set of measuring spoons though, so there is not a compelling reason to buy these unless you have a Calphalon set going.
