| Editorial Reviews:
Amazon.com Review Cuisinart's Copper Classic cookware is for experienced cooks who desire professional-level cookware and understand the benefits of each of the metals used in this triple-ply construction. This 8-quart stockpot performs simple kitchen tasks, such as boiling pasta, as well as more laborious undertakings, such as simmering a clear leek and chervil soup or an East-Coast-style fisherman's stew to serve eight. The gorgeous copper finish on the exterior not only looks impressive but also offers more precise temperature control for rapid heating and cooling of foods. A pure aluminum core extends through the bottom and sides of the stockpot for even heat distribution. The 18/10 stainless-steel interior allows cooks to use any ingredient in this pot without fear of discoloration or acidic flavors or reactions taking place. The lid, also constructed of stainless steel, fits tightly on the pot's rim to seal in nutrients and flavors. The drip-free rims are tapered for pouring without worry about spilling. The pot has two sturdy handles that offer a wide grip for security and are oven-safe to 500 degrees Fahrenheit. --Cristina Vaamonde

Nice looking-but... April 1, 2005 4004CII 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
Nice looking pot but the instructions for removing the vinyl protective film was written by someone who has never done it. I followed the instructions-no dice, fould other suggestions from other websites (baking soda w/hot h2O soak) nada. If Cuisinart can figure out a way for those of us with better things to do-I'd like to hear it.
