Look. This just works. It's solid. It's massive and you could probably use it to dig yourself out of an ice cream avalanche - but I digress. If you're using a scooper, your using way too much energy. Get this and save yourself the pain.

What can I say? This handy little gadget is the best ice cream scoop we've ever owned. If the ice cream is frozen solid, just run a little hot water over the scoop before dipping and the scoop will cut right through it. The handle is just the right size to maintain a good grip and the generous scoop will fill your bowl quickly. The only drawback is that if you have kids, it would be hard to fill an ice cream cone with a scoop this size and shape. Otherwise, it's perfect.

This is great little kitchen tool. Nice heft, and comfortable to hold. A bit larger than I envisioned but not overly so. It's heavy-duty and should last for years.
