Amazon.com Nonstick inside and out for easy cleaning, this 10-piece cookware set outfits a kitchen with the basics while permitting healthful, low-fat cooking. The set consists of a 7-1/2-inch sauté pan, a 9-1/4-inch sauté pan, a 10-3/4-inch sauté pan, a 1-quart saucepan with lid, a 2-quart saucepan with lid, a covered 5-1/3-quart Dutch oven that doubles as a pot for cooking pasta, simmering stock, or making soup, and a steamer. Lids are domed, made of polished stainless steel, and have knobs that adjust to vent steam for controlled cooking. Ergonomic handles made of tough plastic stay cool on the stovetop and are oven-safe to 350 degrees F. They're welded, with no inside rivets to trap food, and have hanging holes. Though inexpensive, the cookware is handsome and stylish, with charcoal gray exteriors and charcoal black interiors. Bottoms resist warping for uniform heating without hot spots. Inside the Dutch oven and pans' bottoms are T-Fal Thermospots that turn solid red when the pan is properly preheated. This cookware carries a lifetime warranty against defects, excluding dishwasher damage.--Fred Brack What's in the Box 1-quart saucepan with lid, 2-quart saucepan with lid, 5-1/3-quart Dutch oven with lid, 7-1/2-inch sauté pan, 9-1/4-inch sauté pan, 10-3/4-inch sauté pan, steamer.

I didn't order this set, but received it and.... April 19, 2008 M. Wong (MA, USA) I decided to keep it b/c I didn't want to go through the hassle of returning and getting another one. Even though I got stiffed some money at the time (like $20 b/c I ordered a different T-Fal set that was more expensive and had about $20 shipping... UPDATE: I was reimbursed the money I "lost" by my credit card company, yay, so I got my money's worth in the end :-) ) I was refunded $10 by Deerso (the company that sent it to me). I wish I had gotten an explanation for why I didn't receive my ordered product, but whatever. So be careful if you order from Deerso b/c I had no notification at all that they were sending me a completely different set, different price too! So fair warning everyone! As for the set I received, it wasn't the quality and perks that I had w/ the other set I was expecting, but it's done well for what I've cooked and it's easy as can be to clean as well. Also, the bottoms of the pans/pots make it so they don't move around on the stove which is helpful b/c my T-Fal big pan doesn't have the bottoms and is forever moving and pissing me off. I came close to burning some food b/c it was taking forever to cook and when I went to turn off the stove, I saw that the food wasn't burned at all and wasn't even caked on at the bottom like I was expecting (if it was any other pot I had, it would've!) And I was also mad that this set doesn't have the thermo red spots in the middle like my T-Fal pan. The set I had ordered did have the spots and was looking forward to having it in all my pots and pans, so that was dissappointing and annoying for me. And it's annoying the set didn't come w/ fitting lids for the pans, so I basically have to cook uncovered if I'm to use the pans which does not make sense to me at all. Also, the sizes of the smaller pots and pans will probably never be used b/c I don't cook in small amounts like that! I honestly don't know what the strainer looking thing is for either, or how to use it. So for me, that's useless.
NO THERMOSPOTS April 10, 2008 Pilar (Washington DC) VERY disappointed that they don't have thermospots as advertised, but honestly I did not have time to return them. These pans have worked out quite well for me. I don't do anything fancy in the kitchen but these pans work perfectly. Very easy to clean. I only use the yellow side of the sponge and all the food comes right off. So far (after 1 month) not one scratch.
Wonderful Product April 6, 2008 Nikki L. Hughes (Tallahassee, FL USA) I had a set of T-Fal that I bought, probably ten years ago, and have been using it that long. After ten years, I decided to get a new set. I bought this one b/c I love the grey color, it looks sleek and the glass lids are a great way to watch your food w/out taking the lids off. My boyfriend loves that he can finally steam vegetables w/the steamer that was included. The handles of the lids never get hot, which is GREAT b/c I was always having to use a pot holder to pick them up before. No matter what I cook, nothing EVER sticks, including macaroni. It cleans SO effortlessly. I've had this set for about a month, and for the money it is the BEST set of cookware I've owned.
Good Product March 31, 2008 D. Williams This is a good product although it is not as heavy as I expected. I have owned T-Fal for many years and this is considerably lighter than the older ones. I hope it performs as well as the older ones.
Best Non-Stick Pans March 30, 2008 Gadget Man (California) T-Falls are the best non-stick frying pans. After my 10 year old T-Fall wore out, I replaced it with two Bialleti pans. I had read how good they were. Both Bialleti pans were horrible. Fried eggs stick to them like glue. After two months of struggling with them I went out and bought the three T-Fall frying pans that are part of this set. They are superb. The eggs glide off the pan and onto the plate without any effort whatsoever. Needless to say, I tossed the two Bialleti pans.
