Product Description Sometimes the difference from ordinary cooking and great culinary achievements may depend on the quality of the cooking tools. Fundamentally, cookware quality is important. The materials used in pots and pans contribute to heat conductivity, uniformity, and overall consistency of heat distribution that can influence flavors derived from all ingrdients. This set of gourmet-class cookware was created by internationally acclaimed chef Emeril Lagasse, and meet his standards for culinary excellence. Jointly developed with leading cookware manufacturer, All-Clad, this set offers the at-home high performance stainless steel at an exceptional value. The collection features a thick, triple-layer disk of stainless steel, aluminum and copper, permanently bonded together to ensure fast and even heat distribution. The cooking surface is made of non-reactive, satin-finish stainless. Other features include perfectly-balanced and securely-riveted, tempered glass lids and flared lips for drip-free pouring. Safe for glass/ceramic stovetops. This 10-piece set includes an 8-inch Fry Pan, 10-inch Fry Pan, 2-quart Sauce Pan with Lid, 3-quart Casserole with Lid, 3-quart Saute Pan with Lid, 6-qt. Stock Pot with Lid This affordable cookware set may just be the link to raise your cooking results from good to delicious. Dishwasher safe for easy cleaning Emerilware includes a Lifetime warranty
Amazon.com Review Celebrity chef Emeril Lagasse kicks it up another notch with this stainless-steel cookware collection, following the success of his nonstick collection. Bam! This 10-piece set is a lustrous example of the stainless-steel collection, which is made by renowned cookware manufacturer All-Clad. Pots and pans are heavy-gauge, 18/10 stainless steel polished to a mirror finish outside and blessed with a satin finish inside to conceal utensil marks. To distribute heat uniformly and maintain it, there are thick aluminum disks on the bottoms covered in stainless steel so the cookware works on any stovetop, including induction. For elegance, the disks' edges are clad in copper. The set consists of a 2-quart saucepan with lid; a deep, 3-quart casserole pan with lid; a 3-quart sauté pan with lid that's also perfect for braising; a 6-quart stockpot with lid; and 8-inch and 10-inch fry pans. The pot and pans display Emeril's signature on their cast-stainless-steel handles, which are riveted for strength, have thumb rests, stay cool on the stovetop, and won't be harmed by an oven's highest heat. The pot and pans' lips flare to facilitate dripless pouring. Made of tempered glass, lids allow cooking to be monitored without releasing heat. Stainless-steel bands around their edges prevent chipping and ensure a tight fit. Although Emerilware Stainless cookware is dishwasher-safe, hand washing is recommended. It carries a lifetime warranty against defects. --Fred Brack What's in the Box 2-quart saucepan with lid, 3-quart casserole pan with lid, 3-quart sauté pan with lid, 6-quart stockpot with lid, 8-inch fry pan, 10-inch fry pan

Best Wedding Gift Ever! November 25, 2008 Lisa Scher (Chicago) Ok...my husband and I got married on the spur. So as a wedding present, my family pitched in and bought us this cookware set. I've not really cooked with any other products, except farberware. And this is soooo much better! I love everything about this set! It's so easy to cook with, clean up, and store! I truly love cooking with this set! My mom purchased the Wolf Gang collection, and it's just not the same! His are so light and uneven when cooking. Emeril's cookware is heavy, and consistant! It feels like I'm cooking in a real kitchen with these! This was definately a dream set, and am so grateful that my family bought these for us! I now want to add to my collection and keep up the great cooking!
Great Cookware but Induction Safe? October 1, 2008 Cab98 (Seattle WA) I have had the 10 piece Stainless steel set for some time and like it so well that I have bought several other pieces like a large and small saucier. Until recently I did not even realize that one was supposed to heat the pots on a lower heat, and usually cranked my heat up to high. The pots, I am glad to say, are fine. However in spite of the Amazon Product Description, which says "the cookware works on any stovetop, including induction" I am doubtful that this is the case. Cooking.com says they are NOT safe for use with induction stove tops. Apparently if a pot or pan will attract a magnet it is induction safe. Interestingly none of the pieces in the 10 piece set attract a magnet, while my other Emeril pieces do. Go figure!
Not bad for the money August 5, 2008 Alan J. Brady (Italy) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I purchased this set as a reasonably priced alternative to All Clad. Pros: Reasonable cost, complete set looks good hanging on your pot rack Cons: 8" fry pan is prone to tipping when empty, e.g. when being heated with only a little oil in preparation for searing. The glass lids are heavy and the perimeter metal not well finished. The copper stripe around the base is for decoration only and has started to peel off on one of my pots. Conclusion: Not a bad set but for the serious cook it makes more sense to buy individual pans suited for the different cooking needs. Stainless is best for browning, searing, and pan frying. It's definitely not non-stick so if you like eggs over easy, better buy a non-stick pan.
Great cookware! June 14, 2008 M. E. McNeill (Rowan County, KY USA) I love this cookware! It took a bit of adjusting for me to get used to stainless vs. non-stick but I'm glad I made the switch!
Frankly Emeril, I don't give a BAM! April 16, 2008 R. Singer 0 out of 8 found this review helpful
I received this cookware set from my wedding registry after comparing and contrasting what seemed like ENDLESS sets of pots and pans. I could not be more DISAPPOINTED in my choice. Two words for you Emeril: Plastic Stickers. I have had the cookware for about a week and a half and have not even been able to use it yet, because the superglue used to affix the warning stickers to the INSIDE of the pots will NOT come off. I have soaked (for a week), I have dishwashed, I have used several pot-safe scrubbing solutions . . . NOTHING. Still gluey residue that I am not eager to feed my future husband. On EVERY SINGLE PIECE. I moved all my meat to the freezer because it simply cannot wait around in the fridge for these pots to get their act together. What good are any of these special surfaces, layers of different metals, and "durable" finishes if you practically have to scrub them off (for two weeks) just to use the pots? If this wasn't a gift, I would return it. I would even pay the return shipping out of pocket to have it out of my house.
