Product Description Wow, a deal like this doesn't come around often, so if you've been postponing a bakeware purchase for just the right moment, this is it! Five pieces of high quality bakeware, in the most often used shapes and sizes, all for under thirty bucks. Their non-stick surfaces are dishwasher safe and even if you don't have a dishwasher clean up will be a cinch thanks to the food-releasing properties.
Amazon.com Review This Simply Calphalon set comprises the basics for a home chef or novice baker: one 9-by-13-inch brownie pan, one medium loaf pan measuring 4-1/2 by 8 1/2 by 2-1/2 inches, one 12-cup muffin tin, one large 14-by-17-1/2-inch cookie sheet, and one 8-inch square cake pan. Simply Calphalon bakeware is constructed of heavy-gauge metal that prevents warping, and features a durable, double-thick nonstick coating for effortless release of baked goodies. The surface won't chip, crack, or peel and is easy to clean. Each pan features just what you'd expect in good bakeware. For example, the consistent thickness of the cookie sheet is necessary for even baking across the entire batch, and the cake pan's rolled edges prevent warping or twisting under the hottest temperatures. Simply Calphalon is covered by a 10-year warranty. --Rhonda Langdon

Great Bakeware November 7, 2006 baker (San Francisco, CA) I love this baking tray set - the non-stick pans works wonderfully, and they are a nice heavy weight which distributes heat nicely and do not warp with temperature changes. They were such an incredible bargain.
Calphlon Bakeware - Busted July 27, 2005 Riccardo Didlick Calphalon bakeware is really over-rated. I thought this heavy gauge bakeware would last sometime with minimal use however, the non-stick surface lasted through one dish washing before starting to peel off. I bought a 2.00 cookie sheet at the dollar store and it has far out performed the calphalon bakeware.
Heavy-grade metal with a fragile coating July 14, 2005 T. D NOWLIN (Alexandria, VA United States) Most of the pieces in this set have been great for most baking that I've done. The non-stick coating is very easily scratched, so you have to be conscious of the kind of utensil you're using before you take a cookie off the sheet. Granted, the non-stick works well and baked goods tend to just fall right off. Another problem I've had is that the seam of the cups on the muffin pan rust when put in the dishwasher. It can be cleaned off, but it doesn't seem to reflect the expected Calphalon quality you should expect. The pans themselves are very heavy, and I feel like it would be difficult to make them warp. Also, I would like to make an addition now that a few months have passed from my above review. I used one of the pans to serve out of and the process of cutting bar cookies from the pan destroyed the non-stick finish and it has rusted in the places where the finished came off. I find this to be troubling for a pan from such a well-respected company.
Not really non-stick June 21, 2005 Mom of 5 boys (Albuquerque, NM United States) I bought these about 1 and 1/2 years ago and have not had good success. I am sorely dissappointed.I have trouble with everything sticking to this stuff, I would not recommend buying this stuff. Even cookies stick!
Just Okay Pans January 1, 2005 K. Hall (Seattle, WA) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
These pans are certainly not living up to the Calphalon name, everything sticks to them, and they are very difficult to get clean. Granted, they are not very expensive, but I would have paid more gladly to have better non-stick. Some reviewers say you need to hand wash them, but the item description clearly states "Dishwasher-safe; 10-year warranty" Overall I would not buy them again.
