Product Description Premium cookware with classic style but modern technology - endorsed by French chef Paul Bocuse. Pieces have brilliant mirror-finished 18/10 stainless steel construction that won't react with food and aluminum-encapsulated bases for fast, even heat distribution. Limited lifetime warranty.
Amazon.com Review Cooks shopping for midweight stainless-steel cookware at a mid-range price may well have found their match with this cookware set from Cuisinart. The set comes equipped to handle the most common cooking tasks and includes an 8-quart covered stockpot, a 3-quart covered saucepan, a 1-1/2-quart covered saucepan, and a 10-inch skillet. As part of Cuisinart's Chef's Classic line of cookware, all pieces are made of 18/10 stainless steel that has been polished to a brilliant mirror finish and that won't react to acidic foods. An inner core of aluminum ensures that foods heat quickly and evenly. The stainless-steel handles on this cookware stay cool on the stovetop and the matching 18/10 mirror-polished stainless-steel lids have dripless rims. All cookware in Cuisinart's Chef's Classic line is oven-safe up to 550 degrees Fahrenheit and is covered by a limited lifetime warranty. --Cristina Vaamonde What's in the Box 3-quart saucepan with lid, 1-1/2-quart saucepan with lid, 8-quart stockpot with lid, 10-inch skillet

It's a pleasure to cook with these! May 15, 2008 M. Jackson (Midwest) I am extremely pleased with all the pans in this set. What a great value for the money! The heavy bottoms are wonderful for everything from melting chocolate to making something like lemon curd, which requires a lot of watching and whisking--even rice doesn't stick and is easy to clean. As the directions say, soaking the pans while they are still hot makes for easy clean-up. I occasionally use Barkeeper's Friend cleanser on the insides and bottom (not the exterior sides) to restore the shine. I also love that the lid for the larger sauce pan fits on the omelet pan--didn't realize that when I was purchasing it. My only caution would be that for heating something over a long period of time, such as soup or stew, the handles to the lids can get pretty warm. On the other hand, the pan handles are constructed and attached so that they do NOT get uncomfortably warm, which is fantastic. These pans are not only functional, but beautiful. I am very pleased.
A Best Buy at this price April 5, 2008 K. Proctor (Seattle, WA) I would only rate this product as 3.5 stars, except that the price was right, making it a 5. I upgraded from an older Stainless Steel cookware set I bought at Mikasa. That set was also priced well, but the thin gauge material dented easily and the tack-welded handles fell off. This set from Cuisinart has riveted handles that I expect to perform better, but is similarly made from thinner gauge material than more expensive cookware. Since I can buy 3-4 sets of this for what the better cookware would cost, this is definitely a Best Buy. I've had it for a month and am very pleased overall.
boil, bubble, not any trouble April 5, 2008 single dad i'd give it 5 stars, but that intimates perfection. it's a great all-purpose set, very versatile, all the pots are lidded, and the biggest lid also fits the frying pan. nice weight, nice grade of stainless, nicely clad, fast conducting bottom, good heat distribution. handles are well-designed, don't get hot on stovetop. ok for stovetop, oven, and broiler. 3 qt. pot is very versatile, good for 1/2 lb. of pasta, also nicely accomodates steamer insert for veggies. it's a whole-lotta-bang for the buck. allez cuisine!
perfect pots and pans March 4, 2008 Happy Homemaker (Connecticut, USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I had been cooking with the Farberware pots and pans that I received as a wedding gift over 25 years ago. I was hesitant about trying something new but due to their sorry state, I took the plunge and based on reviews and recommendations, decided to purchase Cuisinart cookware. I am one happy lady. Everything cooks beautifully and the pots and pans are easy to clean. A great product!
Excellent quality for the price February 23, 2008 Kathryn G. Shea (san Mateo, CA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This 7 pc Cuisinart cookware is a perfect addition to my other collection of pots and pans. The quality is excellent, the sizes perfect, and use, clean up are easy. The heating is also an improvement to what I was using before this purchase.
