Amazon.com Review Sauté mushrooms or brown sausages to perfection in this classic 10-inch Cuisinart skillet--the sloped sides are ideal for tossing and turning small pieces of food. Made of professional quality 18/10 stainless steel that won't react with acidic foods, the skillet features a tapered rim for drip-free pouring and a riveted, cast stainless-steel handle that's contoured for an easy grip. The skillet's mirror finish retains its brightness through dishwasher, freezer, broiler, and oven use up to 550 degrees Fahrenheit. For superior, even heating, an aluminum disk is encapsulated between two layers of stainless steel in the base. Cuisinart covers the skillet with a lifetime warranty.--Ann Bieri

Cuisinart Chef's Classic Skillet September 23, 2008 K. Rondum (Maryland USA) Good quality for the special price. If you want it to be non-stick, do not use high heat.
Pan sticks July 27, 2008 kitchen junkie (Honolulu) Inexpensive. Nice looking. Convenient size. Pan sticks, however, and that is the reason for 3 stars. Perhaps it is me, but on my glass-top stove, the pan stuck when I tried simple egg-frying. Not sure what I could do differently - pretty simple operation. I have the 14" (great size) and it is beginning to stick too. I have the covered 10" and it is an excellent pan and very nice looking and, for some reason, does not stick.
8 inch skillet July 14, 2008 J. Warren (north carolina coast) Beautiful skillet, cleans well, heats quickly and evenly. It is perfect for omelets. The surface cleans nicely. I was tired of non-stick surfaces scratching and needing to be replaced. I am going to purchase more of the Cuisinart stainless products.
Nice little pan May 15, 2008 K. D'Orazio (Buffalo, NY) I love the Chef's Classic line of cookware! This is a great little pan for smaller portions of food. I use the 12-inch everyday pan for most of my cooking, but this one comes out for eggs or side dishes. I like using it for smaller jobs. Make sure you use enough fat, keep the temperature low, and keep a can of barkeeper's friend handy for easy cleaning.
Disapointed April 29, 2008 Ronnie McCurry (Charlotte, NC USA) I am one of those crying about the pan sticking. I have tried all types of oils and sprays and can't do something so simple as fry an egg with this pan or any of the 3 I have. It is impossible to flip an egg without breaking the yolk because it sticks. The larger dome covered pan I have was used one time to fry burgers and now it is discolored. I would not recommend this to anyone and would love to get rid of mine. Unfortunately I threw away the boxes assuming these were quality.
