 Very disappointing July 21, 2008

I am very disappointed with this muffin pan. I've probably used it a dozen times and I have to dig and pry to get the muffins out. It's no better than the cheap one I bought when I got married 40 years ago. Furthermore, it's horrible to clean. If anything, I have to scrub harder than on my old one.

I am so exited... my first batch of muffins with this brand new pan came out nicely. Crust are on top, around, and bottom. I chose this pan because of its curvy design of the muffin cup wall-to-bottom (vs. straight 90 degree wall). Because of the crispy crust all around plus the nonstick, I just need two fingers to fish them out to the cooling rack. Nothing was left in the pan for cleaning.

Initially I gave this item 4 stars, but actually now that I have used it for a couple months, would take that down to 2 stars if the amazon system would allow a change in rating. The heaviness of the pan seems to retain a great deal of heat, which often results in muffins burning on the bottom. I would not recommend this item.

I love cornbreads. This pan really worked magic with my Boston Market corn bread mix. Comes out perfectly even, no oil needed, each muffin pops out with such ease. Super heavy duty too, nice hefty weight.
Especially it's on the 4 for 3 special, such a great deal.

This is a nice quality pan. It has a sturdy "heavy" feel to it. I have used it quite often and there is no warping. Items come out very evenly cooked and clean-up is a breeze.
