Product Description Cuisinart 619-18 Chefs Classic Non-Stick Hard Anodized 2 Qt Saucepan with Lid
Amazon.com Review A sturdy medium-sized saucepan is one of the most frequently used pieces of cookware, and this 2-quart pan from Cuisinart will give years of faithful service, lending itself to a multitude of kitchen tasks. The thick, hard-anodized aluminum construction conducts heat evenly and efficiently through the sides as well as the base, ideal for gentle simmering, and the wide shape speeds up the reduction of sauces. A tempered glass lid seals in flavor while keeping the contents visible, and a specially designed rim allows for easy drip-free pouring. Cuisinart Chef's Classic hard-anodized cookware features an advanced Quantanium nonstick coating, designed for healthy low-fat cooking. The coating is tough enough for use with metal utensils. Even delicate foods like fish can be cooked without sticking, and cleanup is quick and easy. Every pan is constructed from durable 3mm hard-anodized aluminum, providing superb heat transfer without hot spots. The securely riveted stay-cool steel handles are oven-safe to 500 degrees F, so food can be browned on the stovetop then transferred to the oven to finish cooking. This pan should be hand-washed with a mild detergent, and it carries a limited lifetime warranty against defects. --Simon Leake

I love Cuisinart January 14, 2008 C. Hazel (Seattle WA) We bought the one of the big set over a year ago, and just wanted to add this size, they are good, solid, sturdy cookware.
2 quart saucepan August 4, 2007 James R. Jones (Dillingham, AK) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I think the base pot is very good and made very well. However, the handle stinks. If I had a small hand it would be good, but with large hands the handle is to small and I do not feel I get a good grip on the pot when it is heavy.
Nonstick issues and worst customer service ever. July 25, 2007 T.P. (Austin, TX USA) 1 out of 3 found this review helpful
I bought this saucepan and after 6 months a ring appeared inside the non-stick coat. As the company boasts in lifetime warranty, I tried to contact them... 1st try - on hold for 50 minutes - can't leave a message as well - gave up. 2nd try - emailed customer service with a photo of the pan - no reply. 3rd try - got hold of them, was told I need to send it over to them and also add $7 for the return shipping! I paid $22, so to pay $14 just to get a new one after this one was defective seems excessive. I have a few other non nonstick Quisinart pans and they are great. Don't buy the nonstick ones.

I bought 10 piece couisinart chef nonstick, after 6 months, one of pan started sticking and non-stick coat was gone, I have to spent $14 to exchange for only one piece. so it is not always perfect.
