Amazon.com Review A sturdy medium-sized saucepan is one of the most frequently used pieces of cookware, and this 3-quart pan from Cuisinart will give years of faithful service. Perfect for quickly blanching vegetables or slowly simmering pasta sauces, this saucepan lends itself to a multitude of kitchen tasks. The thick, hard-anodized aluminum construction conducts heat evenly and efficiently through the sides as well as the base, and the wide shape speeds up the reduction of sauces. A tempered glass lid seals in flavor while keeping the contents visible, and a specially designed rim allows for easy drip-free pouring. Cuisinart Chef's Classic hard-anodized cookware features an advanced Quantanium nonstick coating, designed for healthy low-fat cooking. The coating is tough enough for use with metal utensils. Even delicate foods like fish can be cooked without sticking, and cleanup is quick and easy. Every pan is constructed from durable 3mm hard-anodized aluminum, providing superb heat transfer without hot spots. The securely riveted stay-cool steel handles are oven-safe to 500 degrees F, so food can be browned on the stovetop then transferred to the oven to finish cooking. This pan should be hand-washed with a mild detergent, and it carries a limited lifetime warranty against defects. --Simon Leake

Think I have the perfect pan at last December 10, 2007 FrancisXavier (St. Paul, MN United States) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This has the MOST EVEN quick heating base I have ever seen. The perfect pan. Makes cooking a joy. Absolutely the best yet and I've tried the best.

FINALLY! We have gone through a few different types of well known pots and this is the first time I can actually say I'm impressed. My husband is the real cook. I do the clean-up. We both are happy with the cooking qualities but I am OVERJOYED with the easy cleaning. We even overcooked spaghetti sauce one time, almost burnt, and the pan just wiped clean!! If I sound excited, I am. Years of scrubbing and giving up on pots has made this a great thing for me. We have most of a set.
A Great Value March 27, 2007 Robert J. Mancini (Laurel, MD USA) I don't think you can find a better suacepan at this price and quality. The pan heats up quickly, The Lid (included with the product) fits perfectly. Cookng with this non-stick surface is a delight. I cook a lot of Italian sauces. In the pot I used in the past I would have to scrape the last bit of sauce onto the pasta. With these!!! Everything just slides out... a little shake and practically everything just falls right out. Cleanup?? Hot Water, A little dish soap, a swish with a dish brush, rinse and dry 2 Minutes max.I am building a set of the Cuisinart pans And I am very happy with them. ONE CAUTION!!!! DO NOT STACKTHESE POTS INSIDE ONE ANOTHER!!! The rivets can cause too tight a fit an can damage the nonstick surface near the rim. I am using the 3M stick up hooks to hang mine on the walls of my kitchen. Less wear and tear on the pots and it looks great!
Great cooking March 9, 2007 Anita L. Tedford (Odessa, TX) Love these pot. Wish I had Cuisinart Chef's Classic Nonstick cookwear when I was raising my family. It sure makes life a lot easier.

We use this pot practically every day. No problems with cleanup. No problems with scratching. The glass lid is a lifesaver. Best saucepan I've ever used.
