Amazon.com Review
This versatile cookware set from Cuisinart comprises a roomy 8-quart stockpot for soups and pasta, 3- and 1-1/2-quart saucepans, 8- and 10-inch skillets, and a 3-1/2-quart saute pan. The stockpot, saute pan, and saucepans come with tempered glass covers, designed to seal in flavor without hiding the food from view.

Each piece is made from durable hard-anodized aluminum that heats up quickly without hot spots, and each is lined with an advanced Quantanium nonstick coating. Quantanium is designed for healthy low-fat cooking, allowing even delicate foods like fish to be cooked without sticking. Every pan cleans up quickly and easily, and is tough enough for use with metal utensils, giving years of trouble-free service. The securely riveted stay-cool steel handles on each pan are oven-safe to 500 degrees F, so food can be browned on the stovetop then transferred to the oven to finish cooking. Together, the six pans in this set will handle almost any everyday cooking task, making them ideal for setting up a new kitchen or replacing older cookware. --Simon Leake

5 out of 5 stars Impressive   March 12, 2008
J. Nosse (Warren Ohio)
Impressive- you can use lower heat with the black in particular and pans heat up faster- The non stick surface is so effective that it almost becomes a disadvantage when trying to turn eggs over- easy-they just slip away from you.- easy cleanup- well worth the money

5 out of 5 stars A great set!   March 6, 2008
J. Boothe (Fort Worth, TX United States)
This set of cookware is great for my purposes of cooking for a small family. The heat distributes evenly and fairly quickly. Clean up is a breeze. I've had this set for a year, and only have one piece where the non-stick coating has been nicked, and that took a pretty serious hit to make that happen. Just use wooden or non-stick utensils and always hand-wash.

3 out of 5 stars Great service from Dependable, terrible from Cuisinart   January 19, 2008

The first set we received had a defective stockpot, out of round & lid would not fit, it was clearly a factory defect as all packaging was intact and all other pieces were fine. The 2nd set had a defective lid, again clearly from the factory. Cuisinart's customer service was rude and would do nothing to help, Dependable Resource was EXCELLENT. They made the exchange process as painless as possible and we would definitely do business with them again. If we ever purchase any Cuisinart pans in the future, it will be at a storefront where we can inspect the merchandise BEFORE taking it home.

5 out of 5 stars POTS and PANS   January 12, 2008

These were wonderful pots and pans. Not very expensive, and so far the nonstick lining has not worn out.

5 out of 5 stars For those who think the nonstick coating is not so great...   December 14, 2007

Just be glad you didn't buy a Calphalon One Nonstick pan from Williams-Sonoma for full price $140 and then like an idiot, use spray on it which is the reason for the damage to the nonstick. I wish I would've known that before I used it on the nonstick, but it's true....the chemicals in the nonstick sprays damage the nonstick coating of the pan and it is no longer safe to use the pan because it is unhealthy after it's damaged, you have to throw it away and get another one. This Cuisinart nonstick is just as safe and functional as the super expensive pieces by all clad and calphalon, and if you educate yourself to take care of them properly, will last years and years if not for the rest of your life which is a good deal!
