Very practical and good looking to boot September 19, 2007 Stefani (Berkeley, CA USA) I have been using this pan for about 1 year. It is sturdy and great for cooking eggs, pancakes, sausage, tofu, hot sandwiches, chicken ... I even use it for blanching green beans and other smaller vegetables. It's really easy to clean and food comes right off of it. I always rinse it with water and give it a quick scrub right after I finish using it, just to be safe. Plus it's nice looking which is important for me since I hang all of my pots and pans out on a rack for all to see.
Solidly built pans May 14, 2007 J. Seiwert (Wichita, KS United States) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
These are solidly built pans, good for a lifetime IF you take care of the teflon surface, and that means cleaning by hand, and especially letting it cool on its own--no sudden changes in temperature. My pans have lasted me over ten years, now, and are good products.
multitasking cookware April 3, 2007 ritzbits 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
My Calphalon One has given me perfect crepes and toasty paninis so far-- I'm looking forward to using it for many more things. Cleanup is super easy, the only reason this wouldn't get even more time in rotation is that it's heavy and cumbersome for me to wash by hand, but of course that's why it performs so well. C'est la vie!
excellent value for a small-ish shallow pan March 24, 2007 thelawgoddess (seattle wa usa) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
i bought this pan just under a year ago. it was my first "real" pan. i wasn't sure how much difference there could really be in pans, so i was pleasantly surprised. it cooked way better than the cheap thin pans i have always owned in the past. i liked it so much that less than a month later i bought i got the "matching" 10-inch everyday pan - which is deeper. despite this griddle being shallow, i do use it cook soup for myself fairly often. it's a great pan!

A very good pan. You must use non stick utensils when using this pan.
