Great knife for the money October 4, 2008 Jru (Wisconsin) I think I paid thirty some dollars for this knife when amazon was having some sale. For the money it is a great knife. The handle is very easy to grip and it does not get slippery at all. The blade is very substantial and sharp. It is balanced well too. I am not sure how much I would pay for it, but if you can get it for less than $40 it is a great deal.
Rachael Ray knife April 20, 2008 marcia handler (marietta, GA United States) I don't find this sharp at all. My neighbor who is a gourmet cook offered to sharpen it for me. He thought it was either defective or a piece of junk. I agree. I have the smaller one and it is much sharper.
Grip coming loose April 13, 2008 M. Briggs (Las Vegas, Nevada United States) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
We bought the 7-inch knife a little over a year ago via one of the Amazon sellers and have enjoyed using it. However, I've noticed the grip is starting to come loose. Due to the angle of the "wobble", I'm concluding that the tang does not extend all the way through the handle, which is something I would expect on an expensive knife. The tang is also very thin, like you would expect to see on a file or rasp. I've looked on line in order to contact furi directly, but can't seem to find any way to contact them. BTW, we take care of our knives carefully and don't put them in the dishwasher or abuse them in any way.

This is by far a great knife. I expected that It might rust after being washed a few times and I did have a few rust spots that came up on it but I oiled it and they came off. Since then, I haven't seen anymore. I must say that I love this knife!!! I can say you will not be disappointed with this knife. I did get this knife on sale, not sure I would have paid the full price beforehand but now I can say that I would.
Furi Knife March 13, 2008 Gordon P. Martinez (Thibodaux, LA) This is probably the best knife I have ever owned. When I purchased this knife, I also purchased the Furi Sharpening Systems. The Sharpening systems keeps this knife really sharp. I would strongly recommend this knife to anyone.
