If I could have one piece of cookware... August 11, 2008 M.T.H. (Los Angeles, CA) ...It would be this saute pan. I got it as a gift and thought I needed something fancier; now I'm working my way through the rest of the set. Heats quickly and evenly, cleans up in no time (take that, nonstick), and it's big enough for a one-pan dinner. Caramelizes like a dream and can withstand any sharp utensils you've got.
Good quality pan August 9, 2008 Carrie Semmler A nice, heavy-duty pan with a sturdy handle. Consistent with the good quality of other KitchenAid products I have. So far so good!
Awesome July 20, 2008 Consumer 4 3/4 quarts is very large, could cook for a crowd in this, but this pan is awesome just the same, an excellent pan to cook in, use every day, and I would recommend it to others. Love the quality and copper accents.
Great for ceramic cooktops June 16, 2008 The Analyst (NYC, NY) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I have used more expensive pans, but they don't stay flat. This one seems to hold out. Maybe it is the bottom cladding. The ones that are completely cladded up the sides seem to warp easily. Lost one star because it is only 11 inches. Wish they made a wider one. The bottom can be a little thinner too, to make it lighter. The copper holds heat very well.
LOVE IT!! April 17, 2008 M.E.R. (Minnesota) I bought this pan to go with my 10 piece set. I needed the set, but I LOVE this pan. I have had them a couple weeks now and have made a couple big dinners in it. It distributes heat well and just cooked things beautifully. I am so happy with this purchase.
