A decent set of basic mixing bowlsDecember 14, 2007 fire-star(USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
First off, what you get might be slightly different from the picture: in my set, the smallest bowl was yellow and the middle bowl was green.
The bowls are lightweight, which is good when you've only got one hand to hold a bowl in the air while your other hand is scraping out batter. The rubbery ring on the bottom keeps this lightweight bowl from skittering away across the counter while you're mixing. The bowls are deeper with tall sides, which helps keep the ingredients in the bowl (I hate it when flour or powdered sugar puff out of a shallow bowl). The size of each bowl is clearly marked on the bottom in both imperial and metric measurements. My only question is how durable the bowls will be in the long run since the plastic seems a bit thin (will my handheld mixer damage them after a while? I don't know yet).
