Customer Reviews:

4 out of 5 stars A decent bargain   September 6, 2008

It's true that you get what you pay for, but sometimes you get a little extra. The Heuck set is very functional and with good care it looks to be quite durable. After using it for a month there are some minor discolorations that are purely cosmetic.

The primary problem is the metal construction of the pots and lid handles. The pot and pan handles will heat up some, occasionally to the point of being too hot to touch. The lids almost always heat up that point, and I have to keep a towel handy to move lids around during cooking.

For the amount of money I paid, the Heuck set is a bargain and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a set of cheap, durable and moderately good-looking cookware. I would invest in something with better design if you have the money to spare and are looking to properly outfit a kitchen.

3 out of 5 stars Not the best quality but good for the money!   August 19, 2008

Great for a college or right out of college apartment living, especially if you don't want to spend $200-300 on a set. Used for a few weeks, and it works fine, only the handles get a little hot. Very light!

2 out of 5 stars Okay for the price   August 4, 2008

I think this set is economical, however I don't like the handles at all. They're hollow and the heat goes right through them. You have to use a pot holder so you don't get burned. My advice, pay the extra money for the sets with protected grips.

5 out of 5 stars Excellent Quality Cookware Set   July 9, 2008

This cookware set is a great deal and the quality is excellent. The pans are lightweight, but durable. They come clean very easily. Just be cautious, the handles do get hot when cooking.
