High quality cookware set - very happy to have thrown away the non-stick set that I had previously (since it was chipping away).... This set has a professional feel, quite heavy for the price - my previous set was a high end Calphon set (very expensive - although the non-stick surface was coming off)

This set is ideal for those who want solid made cookware. It's very heavy and well made. The only downfall is the handles get a little hot to the touch. My other Farberware (Classic) never had to worry about that. I love them so much I also got a couple pans in the non stick also. I would say the product is very well worth the money. They seem like they will last a lifetime.

I purchased these pots at a terrific price and as always Farberware's quality is second to none. I received my first set of Farberware pots 25 years ago when I got married and they were terrific. They are great to cook with, clean up really nice and even after years of use look just as good as the day you bought them. When I moved into my new home I got a new set of pots (not Farberware) as a housewarming gift so I left my Farberware pots to my mother-in-law. They were 20 years old and still in great shape. When I saw this set on sale I had to purchase it and I'm happy I did. Farberware is everything I knew it would be and the millenium soft touch was a nice new feature. The handles and lid tops are coated so they remain cool to your touch. Unless you plan on spending $500 or $600 for a set of pots I don't think you will find anything better.

These pots are equal to in value to the most expensive pots that I've seen. They cook the food with evenly distributed heat and are easy to keep clean and shiney.
Works well with induction cooktop September 4, 2008

This stuff heats up super fast and is very efficient with induction technology. I have a good set of cookware that I like very much, but which doesn't work as well as I'd like with my new induction burner. I looked hard to find something that would serve that purpose and found it in this set. I'd done some research and was disappointed to find some cookware says it works with induction, but it really isn't the ideal choice as it doesn't heat up all that fast. Other advertised cookware is very expensive. I just wanted something that would function well with this one burner and wouldn't break the bank. I'm very pleased with this set. While it works on a standard electric or gas cooktop, it is perfect for induction technology and it doesn't seem to have much competition in that department. Highly recommended for that purpose.
