Amazon.com Review
A satiny sheen and touches of color give Rachel Ray's 10-piece stainless-steel cookware set a stylish look that's also functional and durable. Included in the grouping are an 8-quart covered stockpot, 1-1/2- and 3-quart covered saucepans, 8- and 10-inch open skillets, and a 10-inch covered sauté pan. Stainless steel is a popular all-around cooking material because it heats quickly and evenly, while the aluminum-capped bases add energy efficiency and excellent heat retention. Plus, the metal doesn't react to acidic foods, resists corrosion and scratches, and cleans easily with just a sponge.

The cookware set also features high-arching handles covered in grippy orange silicone that stay cool on the range and are oven-safe to 400 degrees F. Riveted on for strength, they won't warp, bend, or break no matter how heavy the load or how often used. Glass lids also keep the chef informed on what's happening inside the pots without letting heat, nutrients, or flavor escape. A nice starter set that's both versatile and inclusive, this collection is perfect for a new homeowner or as a smartly polished upgrade to a worn, gathered-over-the-years menagerie. It's backed by a lifetime limited warranty. --Kara Karll

Product Description
In fewer than five years, Rachael Ray has radically changed the way America cooks dinner. Her perky-girl-next-door swagger, her catchphrases for techniques, and her dinner ideology of simpler, less expensive and just in time have sold billions of books and placed her at the top of the talent heap of food television personalities. This cookware set is an exceptional value, including all of the pans needed to equip your kitchen with the most used cooking pieces. As the set contains only basic pieces, you'll really use each and every pan. It includes saucepans for whisking a homemade sauce or cooking your morning oatmeal, a big stockpot for soups, stews or boiling pasta, and skillets (probably the most used pan in any kitchen) that will help you turn out perfect crepes or a simple grilled cheese sandwich. The set also includes a saute pan, a wide, straight-sided pan that can perform many of the functions of a skillet but features deep sides for extra capacity, perfect for one dish meals. Start your dish in this pan by saut??ing onions and browning meat, then add your liquid and other ingredients into the same pan to finish on the stovetop or in the oven. Durable and stylish satin finish stainless steel construction . Full cap base of aluminum heats quickly and evenly for fast, even heating performance. Sophisticated stainless steel construction is favored for it durability. The sat

5 out of 5 stars I love my Rachael Ray cookware!   August 29, 2008

All the cooks at our house love these pans. They heat and cook evenly and wash up like a dream. Rachael Ray 10-Piece Stainless-Steel Cookware Set We would all recommend them!

5 out of 5 stars Great cookware, affordable price!   August 12, 2008

I am SO very glad I decided on these. We shopped for almost a year looking for a replacement for our cheaper stainless set. Given the price for quality cookware, I thought I would never be able to afford a new set. Boy, was I wrong!

I have had these for about 10 months now and have had ABSOLUTELY loved them. They cook evenly and are easy to clean. Every now and then, I have to give them a little scrub with an SOS pad/ steel wool to remove cooked-on grease. They wash quite well in the dishwasher. The silicone handles are still in new condition with no signs of wear.

5 out of 5 stars Pots and Pans Excellence   July 28, 2008

A cook only cooks when the instruments to cook with are up to the task. Usually, style and cookware do not go together but in the case of this set, the orange stay cool handles work great and the stainless steel construction cooks food easily and evenly. The price is great too!

Since I got this set, I have been cooking a lot and saving a ton of money. Thanks Rachael Ray and Amazon for getting me back in my kitchen!

I already owned the 5 quart saute pan and the 8 quart pasta pot so this set was a great addition to my kitchen. I have been married for 32 years and decided it was time for a new set of pots and pans and I am so glad I found these pans.

i was so excited to get this because everyone gave them such good reviews. and from only using nonstick to this i thought for the money it would be better. but after using them i am very dissapointed as food sticks to them and when i wash them they end up getting spots. but for now im stuck with these cant wait till christmas so i can ask my hubby for new pots n pans.
