Product Description 10 piece All-Clad Emerilware hard anodized aluminum cookware set has a lasting nonstick surface for foods that won't stick. Cleanup is a breeze and pans are designed to conduct heat quickly and evenly. Handles are designed for maximum balance and convenience. Use non-metal utensils on non-stick surface for best results. Pans are oven safe up to 400 degrees F.
Amazon.com Review A world-class collection of nonstick cookware, Emerilware bears the signature of celebrity chef Emeril Lagasse and was created in partnership with renowned cookware maker All-Clad. Durable, heavy, and beautiful, Emerilware combines the contemporary style of charcoal-black hard anodized-aluminum with the contemporary ease of nonstick. The exceptional thickness of the hard anodized-aluminum and three layers of tough nonstick provide better heat retention and scratch-resistance. Ideal for low-fat, healthful cooking, Emerilware carries a lifetime warranty against defects. This 10-piece set of Emerilware will win the hearts of Emeril fans and other serious cooks. It consists of an 8-inch fry pan, a 10-inch fry pan, a 2-quart saucepan with lid, a 3-quart saucepan with lid, a 3-quart saute pan with lid, and a 6-quart stockpot with lid. The tempered glass-domed lids fit tightly on the flared lip of the pots and pans, which prevent drips when pouring. Ergonomically designed for comfort and balance, the polished stainless-steel handles are riveted for strength, stay cool on the stovetop, and are oven safe to 450 degrees F. Emerilware should be hand washed. --Fred Brack

Excellent set for the money! September 22, 2007 Mommy Deb (atlanta, GA United States) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
We have been using Analon Professional for years supplemented with some specialty pans. I bought one of the Emeril non stick pans to replace our worn Analon and fell in love with it. It truly needs no oil or better to saute something or cook scrambled eggs. When I saw this set on sale, I bought it and packed up the analon. I love how simple it is to clean! As previously reviewed, the lids are not super tight fitting but I can live with it. :-)
great pots, lousy lids February 11, 2007 Cookie Cutter (San Francisco) 3 out of 5 found this review helpful
I cook all the time, and these pots are great with the exception of the lids. The pots are truly non-stick and easy to clean. However, the lids have a seam between the glass and the metal frame. Whenever you take the lid off a steaming pot, the condensation drips through the seam and makes a mess. Even worse, food gets stuck in the seam and you cannot clean it. I regret the purchase.
Great for the money! January 9, 2007 Michelle S. Noble (Schenectady, NY) 2 out of 4 found this review helpful
I love this cookware!! Got it for Christmas and use it every day. It looks great, cleans up with ease and the food cooks faster! Pan/pots stay flat on my flat cooktop and the see through lids make cooking a lot easier.
Emeril pans November 5, 2006 Rudolf Schluep (Albuquerque, NM USA) 2 out of 4 found this review helpful
Emeril pans are good pans. I use them daily. The frying pans do not last as long as I would have expected. After approx one year usage they start to stick and I have to throw them away. That is the reason for only four stars and not five!
Okay but, not great October 28, 2006 Prudent Buyer (Riverside, CA USA) 8 out of 8 found this review helpful
Emerilware Hard Anadized non-stick is attractive and seems fairly durable. Browning is similar to any non stick pan. You won't get as nice a sear with non-stick as you would with a metal surface. I have many pieces of the discontinued Calphalon Commercial (both anodized and non-stick) which I think is 5 stars. By comparison, Emerilware is less expensive and lighter. My reason for only 3 stars is the handle. If you are not careful, the first time you use them you can get a rude awakening. The heat travels about half way up the handles. This occured while cooking eggs over low heat. I would hate to have grabbed it unawares if I was doing a sear. Not the case for the Calphalon "Cool-V" handles. But for the handles, I'd give it 4 stars.
