It did not hold up August 19, 2008 Pacific (San Diego, CA USA) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This fry pan did not hold up, I have bought two from target. I thought it was because I used the first one incorrectly, but they both started to flake and the one I have now is even looking like it is rusting under the non-stick surface, (this one is only about 2 years old). I have deceided to try an all-clad fry pan instead.
Terrific warranty! Terrific company! March 13, 2008 Othmar 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
Years ago I bought a non stick Calphalon pan after reading the rave reviews. Unfortunately, not being a cook, I didn't know it was kind of a gourmet pan--so my fried eggs and bacon just didn't want to come off easily after a while. I called the company and asked them what to do and how to clearn it--and as a one time courtesy they sent me the same pan, only non-stick. I knew that I originally paid close to eighty dollars for the first one and just assumed that an in-expensive replacement would be sent. I received a Calphalon one and almost fell over when I looked at the price. I am deeply greatful for the customer service and decency of these people. Furthermore, I have no doubt the first pan didn't perform because I didn't use it properly--and Calphalon still came through. You get what you pay for, and then some with this company t

We basically like our pans but the fry pans after two years use are all pitted and flaking. They don't seem to hold up much better than the cheaper, non-stick pans we've had in the past. So far its only happened on the 2 fry pans we had. We like them in use but not for durability. Since they have a "life-time" warranty, we sent two pans back to see if they live up to their warranty claim. Otherwise, they are nice pans.
Calphalon Stands By Their Warranty January 31, 2008 Charles E. Goldblum (Annapolis, Maryland) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Calphalon One Nonstick 10-Inch Fry Pan I received a nonstick version of this pan when I graduated college in 1984. After 23-plus year of use, my wife noticed that the bottom of the pan was warped. I returned the pan to Calphalon at the beginning of the year (Jan 2008) requesting a warranty replacement, but not expecting any response, or a cheaper version of their 10" fry pan. Last evening I received this product as a replacement for my 23 year-old warped pan. A truly outstanding product from an outstanding company. No questions, no inexpensive substitutions.
Great pan, buy cheaper elsewhere November 27, 2007 Lobster Coast (Portland Maine) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This pan is being sold with it's bigger sister, the Calph One non-stick 10" frying pan for a quarter of their usual price. Go to the Calph web site or WS (or Google it). Don't know how long this deal will last, but it's a steal. I bought 2 sets and I'm thinking of going back for more.
