Amazon.com Review From Cuisinart's Chef's Classic series comes this handsome, durable cookware with triple-layer construction. The exterior is hard-anodized aluminum, which is even stronger than stainless steel, with an encapsulated pure aluminum core for quick, even heating. The interiors of the pots and pans feature Cuisinart's Quantanium nonstick finish, a high-quality, long-lasting finish internally reinforced with titanium. Little oil or butter is needed when cooking on this ultra-smooth surface, and low to medium heat is recommended, along with non-metal utensils. All the lids are break-resistant glass, and handles are pure stainless steel, riveted for strength. Every piece is oven-safe to 500 degrees F. Cuisinart puts together all the most commonly used pots and pans in this gift-worthy 12-piece set. Three covered saucepans hold 1-1/2, 2, and 3 quarts, perfect for those everyday tasks such as warming soup, cooking rice, or steaming vegetables. The 8- and 10-inch skillets slide out perfect French toast and pancakes, not to mention eggs over easy with bacon. Use the wide 3-1/2-quart covered sauté pan for frying chicken or braising beef, and the covered 8-quart stockpot for big batches of pasta, chili, and hearty soups. Cleanup is easy, just a quick wash by hand takes care of any food residue. Hard-anodized cookware is best kept out of the dishwasher. Cuisinart covers the cookware set with a limited lifetime warranty against manufacturer defects. --Ann Bieri What's in the Box 12-piece cookware set. Great Cookware October 9, 2008 C. Komenda I purchased this cookware because of the Cuisinart name. I was amazed by the quality of it vs. the price. It is a really nice set and we are well pleased.
Great Cookware October 3, 2008 Bargain Shopper (Pennsylvania) I really like this cookware. Use it Daily. Nothing Sticks. Easy Cleanup. Hoping it lasts a long time. Only have had it awhile. Can't give any long term comments.
Great Set!! September 11, 2008 D. Stankiewicz I have been shopping around for a new cookware set for a few months. I didn't want to spend hundred and hundred for cookware. I ended up purchasing this 12 pc Cuisinart set. What a great set. Sturdy and sharp looking. On top of this being a great set, I am happy to have the 8qt dutch oven. I am used to only a 5 and this 8 is great. I use all the pieces. I used the 3qt alot. Perfect size for reheating and vegetable. I would recommend this set to anyone.
Do not buy this cookware September 3, 2008 Jeanne P. Powanda (Pittsburgh, PA) Cuisinart Chef's Classic Nonstick Hard-Anodized 10-Piece Cookware Set w/ Kuhn Rikon Utensil Bundle Used these pots for 6 months, non-stick coating already coming off. Had T-Fal for over 12 years with no problem. I have to send the bad pots to Cuisinart, and they make a determination if I deserve a replacement. I will send them, but in the meantime I will be shopping for new T-Fal. Don't buy these!
Great value. August 9, 2008 Trevis Carletta (Marco Island, FL, USA) I would recommend this set to anyone that is trying to improve their kitchen a little without spending too much. It's a basic set of cookware, but is a great set of basic cookware. The quality is pretty remarkable for what I paid and I've been having a blast in the kitchen since they arrived!
