Product Description If you were asked to design the perfect kitchen utensils you'd want to make sure they were strong, durable, easy and comfortable to use, able to withstand heat and safe for all your cookware. You might want to make sure chocolate, tomato sauce and other staining liquids such as egg yolks wouldn't leave any lasting impressions, and you might even think to make them good-looking. Leave it to Emeril to create just such tools!
Amazon.com Review Consisting of a slotted serving spoon, a fork with serrated prongs for grabbing hold of a turkey or roast, and a 5-inch-wide turner for pancakes and burgers, the three big, rugged, nonstick tools in this set bear the signature of celebrity chef Emeril Lagasse (Bam!) on shiny stainless-steel plates inset into their handles. They're safe for use with nonstick cookware and are heat-resistant to 400 degrees F. Contoured to fit the hand snugly, the tools' handles are made of soft, nonslip rubber and have holes in their ends for hanging on hooks or pegs. All three tools measure 15 inches long and are dishwasher-safe. To store them on the counter within reach, they're accompanied by a hard-anodized-aluminum canister-style caddy. The caddy measures 5 inches across and 7-1/4 inches high, ample for containing a half-dozen other tools. Its harder-than-steel, scratch-resistant exterior also bears Emeril's signature in bright green. --Fred Brack

Good and biiiiig... January 24, 2005 N (Brownsville, TX United States) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought this set on sale at a local store for almost half the price amazon is offering right now. The tools have a good feel and they are well made, the only problem is that they are kind of big even for my big hands. The spoon has some scratches at the tip after only a few uses on nonstick pans. The canister is big and nice looking with plenty of space for more utensils.
Strudy and dependable January 3, 2003 George Barbour (New Hampshire) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
These utensils are the most used in our kitchen, so I appreciated the emeril product that packaged them with a crock. The utensils are both oversized and sturdy allowing effective use throughout our cooking chores. They are also attractive enough to leave on the counter without worrying about appearances.
Want more.... December 28, 2001 Mary K. Johnson (Apollo, PA United States) 9 out of 9 found this review helpful
I bought this set when they first came out, and I just love it. I have since purchased more of the individual pieces to add to the set. The canister is a perfect match to my hard anodized cookware sets. The kitchen tools don't bend when lifting heavier items out of pots as so many of the vinyl pieces do. The handles have larger grips that conform to your hands, and are great for even those like me who have smaller hands, and they are much easier to hold on to..
